Where: Formentera
Ibiza & Formentera Preservation is joining the Qué Celeste festival, which celebrates its tenth anniversary in Formentera this September, with a programme of activities designed to bring environmental conservation closer to the public through participation, awareness, and culture.
On Saturday 26 September, from 10:00 to 14:00 help boost Formentera’s natural ecosystem by building a community butterfly garden in Sant Ferran.
Marking the grand finale of Ibiza & Formentera Preservation's festival line-up, this interactive workshop is part of the 'Butterflies for Biodiversity' initiative, which has already planted nearly 2,000 aromatic herbs across the islands since 2024.
Participants will work together to plant nectar-rich native flora designed to support local butterfly species, bees, and other vital pollinators. It’s a wonderful, family-friendly morning spent outdoors, offering practical gardening tips you can take home while directly enriching the island's biodiversity.
Location: Espai Cultural, Sant Ferran, Formentera
