Gala Night, Ibiza

Ok so let me first explain how much it tickles McRackin, Spotlight forums' man of mystery and island know-it-all, that people think Gala Night was an actual Zoo. Can you imagine a polar bear in Ibiza? Anyway, this restaurant that had a few animals for entertainment was used for years as a Club 18-30 haunt for daytime events before everything changed. It almost seems strange that nobody did it before, so hats must go off to The Zoo Project crew who latched onto the venue’s history and built a whole concept around it, developing one of the island’s most heralded nights of recent years and continuing the spirit of outdoors raving in Ibiza.

Amongst the predominantly British crowd, fancy dress is a staple and whether you’re dancing around the Seal Pit or chilling around the swimming pool, some of the best international house and minimal techno DJs have been gracing the CDJs at Gala Night for their Saturday afternoon events and more recently on Wednesdays afternoons too.

Gala Night is located on the outskirts of San Antonio, on the road leading to Ibiza Town.
