When should we come?

High Season

The high season weeks from late July until early September are a busy time for the island. Families and young clubbers come to enjoy the great beaches, weather and those buzzing summer nights.

Families tend to head for the beach resorts such as Cala Llonga, Es Cana and San Antonio Bay which have a gentler nightlife and plenty of activities for the kids to get involved with.

Whilst clubbers (if you want to avoid them) head for the apartments and hostels in central San Antonio, Ibiza Town and Playa d’en Bossa accommodation around Space Discoteque and Bora Bora beach club (particularly Jet apartments).

However, the rest of Playa d'en Bossa and San Antonio Bay are very popular with families throughout the Summer.

Low Season

For the rest of the Summer, you can stay pretty much where you prefer. The beauty about Ibiza is that for much of the season, families, young people, couples and groups mingle quite happily together.

In our hotel guide you can be sure to find the ideal accommodation. Each hotel and apartment complex is represented with a complete web page with many photos and clear information of all the amenities and facilities. For a more private experience choose one of our family-recommended villas, all with private pools and plenty of space to play.

We have been checking out the island for over 20 years now, so you can be confident that. We also negotiate personally with hoteliers to secure the best rooms available. What you read is how it is.
