Location: Directly in the resort of Figueretas
Facilities: Promenade, loungers, parasols, showers, access for the disabled, restaurants, bars, shops
Activities: relaxing
Size: 100 metres long, 50 metres wide
Getting there: Located in the middle of the Figueretas suburb of Ibiza Town. Easily reached on foot (ca. 15 min.), by bus and in summer also by ferry.

The beach of Figueretas is a well made, centrally located beach, divided into smaller parts by rocky groynes, creating great areas for children to play in by day and convenient piers to fish from in the evening. The sand sits in front of apartment blocks and hotels and is bordered by a palm fringed walking promenade which extends towards Ibiza to the left and Playa d'en Bossa to the right.

During the summer Figueretas is busy and family oriented, though small ferries and party boats pick up and drop off here. In the evening the beach loses sun early, but the promenade comes alive with craft stalls and the restaurants along its length start to fill up to become a busy hubbub of holidaymakers.

This is the closest beach to Ibiza and there are good views of the old walled Town of Dalt Vila from the far end. A small harbour of tiny fishing boats separates Figueretes from Playa d'en Bossa beach.

Beach bars and restaurants:

There is a good choice of bars, restaurants and shops all within easy reach either on the promenade or along the road behind. Prince Cafe has a breezy open plan set-up and will serve tourist-friendly food from breakfast through to dinner, or go for something a little smaller and grab tapas at the colourful Little Ibiza bar and cafe, also right on the promenade. At the Ibiza Town end of the beach there are more up-market restaurants, like the beautiful Soleado with tables right out on the coastline rocks.

Nearby hotels and apartments:

There are a great many accommodation options near this beach, check out the full range of hotels and apartments. A really luxurious option right on the coast is THB Los Molinos Hotel, or try the beautiful art deco oasis of Es Vive a little further back. A good budget option is the Cenit hotel and apartments or for something unique try Marigna, an adults only, gay-friendly hotel with incredible artwork splashed throughout the interior.
