Album: Moon Harbour InHouse Vol. 4 (Mixed by Dan Drastic)
Label: Moon Harbour
Release Date: 06/06/2012
Leipzigʼs Moon Harbour imprint delivers its fourth Moon Harbour InHouse compilation this summer which features exclusive output from the likes of Matthias Tanzmann, Luna City Express, Reboot, Ekkohaus, Martinez, tINI & Marc Antona and the man tasked to mix the comp, Dan Drastic.
Moon Harbourʼs contribution to house music over the past decade is second to none, with label-boss Matthias Taznmann being just one of many artists who have become synonymous with modern house due to output for the label.
3 years since the last InHouse compilation, the labelʼs mix series shows no sign of losing its appeal. ʻVol. 4 – The Next Levelʼ sees long time Moon Harbour DJ/Producer Dan Drastic curate a mix that takes in some of the strongest names in modern dance music and deftly weaves their respective styles together beautifully.
From the deep house of Luna City Express and Ekkohaus to the reduced grooves of tINI & Marc Antonza, Andy Catana and Boris Werner to out and floor slayers from Reboot and Drastic himself, the house music palette is explored throughout and itʼs done in a refreshingly non-linear way – a sign of Danʼs vast experience as a DJ.
ʻMoon Harbour InHouse Vol 4. – The next Levelʼ is the perfect label compilation in that it represents the width and quality of output while giving the listener something to properly engage with. Released early June on Mixed CD, Mixed Download and Unmixed 2X12
