Pure Techno - Be at Space 2010

Bet you didn't see this one coming. Change of night, change of music and, ever so slightly (!!), change of gear.

After Danny Tenaglia in 2008 and a variety of residents in 2009, including Chris Liebing, Guy Gerber, Wally Lopez and Tom Novy, 2010 requires a complete overhaul of everything you ever knew about Be or Fridays at Space for that matter.

These line-ups are HUGE, No question! In similar vain to Kehakuma being darker, harder and more legendary. Think Radio Slave (4 dates), Francois K (3 dates), MANDY and Booka Shade facing off against new breed DJs like Len Faki, Oxia and Ben Klock. Just to keep things fresh, John Digweed, Wally Lopez (resident), Sebastian Leger and Jerome Sydenham add some variety.

Radio Slave about to get trolleyed

There is a big live program with Frequency 7, Kenny Larkin, Mathew Jonson and Luke Slater and who can remember the last time Surgeon and Joey Beltram played in Ibiza. If all these names mean nothing to you, time to crawl out from the cave and get educated and at €25 all season, you can probably find the entrance fee from your loose change.

Listen: Len Faki - BX3

Good parties in Ibiza are made on paper in May, but the strength of these line-ups certainly gives Be more than a fighting chance. If you're serious about hearing quality electronic sounds, I can't recommend this party enough.

Phil,

yes, all systems go!!

The banners look great, really great in fact, but I wanted to comment on something before you proceeded further.

I'm not sure a banner with weekly line-up like this is the most effective method. What I mean is that if you don't happen to be coming to Ibiza for the 13th June, then all the info on that banner is essentially irrelevant and as a consequence, someone wanting to come in july/aug might decide not to buy a ticket.

As you've done the work for the first 2 parties, we'll defo keep and use, maybe add into all the clubbing pages, as well as the calendar, as a freebie..........but I wanted to raise the issue now.

Is it possible to do some kind of generic. What I think would be most effective is if someone saw 'carl craig' (listed as one of the headliners for the discoteca, non-date specific), then thinks "that sounds good".....click to go buy a ticket and even if they find out carl craig isn't playing the week they're here, they still see how strong the party is anyway and still buy a ticket. Just doing the weekly listings, I'm inclined to think potential customers could slip through the net.

What do you think? Let me know your thoughts,
