Manumission chaos

Thousands turned away at last night's opening party.

Ibiza's biggest party promoters Manumission's move to Friday at Privilege got off to a controversial start last night as thousands were turned away at the door.

Spotlight have been unable to contact representatives of the host venue or the 'Mish crew for comment, but we were in attendance last night to witness the carnage for ourselves. Bottlenecks appeared at several locations as punters desperately tried to get in or out. Fire escape doors were reportedly padlocked. The police were also out in force.

Meanwhile the scripted entertainment program continued. In the Music Box the Streets' VERY LOUD soundsystem kept arms aloft as aerialists, naked people and a Scooby Doo-inspired theatrical narrative diverted attention in the sala principal (below).
