Sundays At Space - Space

At Space. Forget about doing anything else on your Sundays.

The legendary We Love... presided over Space for over a decade. It became known across the planet and was one of the most enduring and popular parties that shaped the quintessential Ibiza we know and love.

Pushing the boundaries with 22-hour marathon sessions, it was an undisputed champ of providing the best quality electronic music out there. There was something about this event that brought out the best in everyone - whether you're from the UK, Spain, Italy, or Mars - and for Space's final year, it will be back doing exactly that as we return to the Sunset Terrace to wave in the arrival of the aircraft bringing fresh clubbers to the island.

In 2016, Sundays will be embodying the We Love...ethos with Sundays At Space arriving from 5 June to 25 September 2016. With the same sole mission of uniting clubbers to dance under a heady shower of love and togetherness, it'll claim the Sunset Terrace and Discoteca to unite the beautiful, happy people for hours of fun together in an amazing club, wearing big sunglasses and enjoying DJ sets and live performances with some of the biggest names in house, techno, electro and whatever may fall in between. Signed up for the final curtain are names including 2manydjs, Anja Schneider, Claptone, Danny Tenaglia, Derrick Carter, Heidi, Green Velvet, Guti (live), John Digweed, Kölsch and Yousef. As well as legends like James Zabiela, DJ Sneak, Matador, Tom Novy, Alan Fitzpatrick, Fritz Kalkbrenner, Huxley, Maribou State and UNER. Local heroes like the Melonbomb crew, Sean Hughes and Little Prince will also be making appearances, proving the dedication to diversity always embodied by Sundays at Space remains strong.

While Sundays At Space rampages through the hours on the Sunset Terrace and in the Discoteca, through in the famous Terraza is a residency that last year stole the show at Vista Club, Privilege, with its debut season. Do Not Sleep hit the mark with clubbers last year, so much so, that after its climactic closing party, it was invited to Space for one final showdown. Tickets sold out, the vibe created at Vista Club followed and the impact Do Not Sleep had at this showcase secured it a spot as a Space residency this year.

Sunday 5 June is the date that Do Not Sleep will embark on its 16-week stint by hosting the world famous Terraza, which is where it will stay for 12 weeks before moving inside to the Discoteca for four. Musically it's all about the special guests and residents and for the opening we have Darius Syrossian in a B2B showdown with Nicky Curly, Deetron, Guti (live) and Yousef, with more names to be added for the following weeks.

We have here the combination of a fiesta that has long been a Balearic legend and a party that will arrive to 2016 still fairly fresh faced, but it's proven itself by being selected to join the Mecca of electronic music. We can't wait to see how this pairing goes down, in a year that will be noted in clubbing history.
