Even in Ibiza, the land of tomorrow, the early bird catches the worm. If you're prepared to plan and book your holidays early then, not only will you get the accommodation you want on the dates you want.

Spotlight's special offers currently include several options with really good discounts for holidays in 2012.

In Cala Llonga the Playa Imperial/Playa Dorada/Club Playa complex is offering 15% discount for bookings made before 1st March 2012. It's a great beach side complex, perfect for couples and young families, with daily entertainment, two pools and close to the resort's shops and sports facilities.

In San Antonio bay the Seaview Country Club also has the same offer - 15% discount for bookings made before 1st March 2012. It's fantastic four star accommodation, entertainment and dining in a superb location by Port des Torrent beach with unrivalled views of the Med!

In Playa de Bossa, there's a 20% discount on bookings made before 1st March 2012 in the Goleta/Tres Carabelas Hotel & Spa complex (photo). It has a superb location on the beach, ideal for swimming, sunbathing and sports and is a favourite with families and couples alike.

Don't forget that as a general rule of thumb the budget airlines are much cheaper the further in advance you book so you could significantly reduce the cost of the holiday you want. We checked (totally at random) the easyJet site for flights to Ibiza in June and found these basic return fares for a week– Luton £58 and Stansted £71.
