Surrounding Area and Attractions
On the beautiful east coast of the island Santa Eulalia has a wonderful sandy beach, exclusive marina and the 'street of restaurants' all
overlooked by the white washed church perched high on the hill. A short distance away lie the lovely resorts of Es Cana (with its famous hippy market) and Cala Llonga, both perfect for couples or families, whilst the pretty village of San Carlos gives you a link to the 'old' Ibiza. Our
tip: explore the nearby unspoilt beaches of Cala Pada, Niu Blau or s'Argamassa.

Mediterraneo Hotel

My wife and I stayed here for 1 week in August 2010. After the initial shock of how small our room was we settled in to enjoy our week at the Mediterraneo.
We viewed it as our base, there are no luxuries or incentives to stay any time in your room other than sleeping and using the bathroom. I would however point out that our room was cleaned every day, clean towels were always available, simply ask the housemaid for replacements, breakfast was ample, forget about your full Irish/English, it was simple and plentiful so stop whinning on about this!
The staff were great, Gabriella is simply a ray of sunshine and so so helpful, nothing annoys this lady and the guys on front desk are also very pleasant and helpful, this is were the hotel comes into its own. You will not get this sort of service in your multi-nationals.
Overall, we enjoyed our time at the Mediterraneo, even though we didnt stay in the hotel for any great length of time, because as I said we used it as our base and holidays are for being out and about, not sitting in your room watching TV all day.
Word of advice, get ...

Yebisah Hostel
What nice hostel, my room overlooked the parade which was a bit noisy at night but closing balcony doors solved that. On the Sunday there was some music on the parade and that was lovely.
Next time I am in Ibiza I will be staying here again.
