Below the hillside village of San Miguel at the base of a cleft in the hills is this quiet resort. A smattering of restaurants and bars and a wide curve of sandy beach gives you all you need for your holiday. Explore the nearby cave or the famous Benirras 'drumming' beach. A 10 minute drive takes you to pretty Portinatx and its wealth of beautiful coves such as Cala Xarraca .
My wife and I recently enjoyed a long weekend break at the Club Cartago Hotel in San Miguel Ibiza. This was our first ever all inclusive break and we enjoyed a very comfortable and relaxing break. My wife works very hard doing a full time job as well as looking after our disabled daughter abd 2 older son's so it was a rare treat for her to be able to relax for a few days. However despite 1st impressions that although the hotel was brilliant but wouldn't be suitable for our daughter in her wheelchair we very quickly realised that the whole resort is in fact very wheelchair friendly. We have therefore already booked for our main summer holiday next year and will be taking our daughter with us. The food was excellent always very fresh and the whole complex was spotlessly clean. It is possible to either enjoy a very lively holiday a very relaxing one it is your choice. Highly recommended.

I've rarely felt so welcome in a hotel. It was like being part of a warm family, where nothing was impossible for the guest. A 'can-do' approach in a setting that allows peace, calm and reflection, yet within easy reach of more active pursuits if those are required. Go there and be looked after with a graciousness that you will not find often in life..
