An autopsy on a body found in the sea at Portinatx has confirmed that it is German man Dieter Stanzinger, who had been missing for several weeks and was last seen at an illegal festival in the area. The injuries to the body suggest that he had fallen from cliffs nearby, and was actually dead before he hit the water. In a bizarre coincidence his disappearance was originally linked to that of a man seen swept away by a wave in Port des Torrent and as yet no body has been found and no reports of missing persons have been received! On the other side of the island DNA tests have finally confirmed that the body found in Cala Llonga some months ago was that of Jeffrey Hodgson, the missing British man.
