The beautiful town of San José dresses up to celebrate the festivity of its Patron Saint day, on 19 March.

The packed programme of fiestas runs from 3 March to 19 April, filled with a whole variety of activities for everyone, including: hiking, climbing and fishing, wine tastings, art exhibitions and activities and theatre for children. Plus, the biggest and most authentic Flower Power party and renowned music festivals, Rock a S'Olivera and Sant Pepe Rock. Phew!

See below our special highlights:

  • 7 March - 19.00 - Fiesta opening ceremony, with a huge BBQ of sobrassada (the delicious raw, cured sausage from the Balearic Islands made of pork) plus live music with the band Pin Up Sound.
  • 14 March - Great FLOWER POWER party. Mini-flower party for the younger ones at 17:30 and from 19:00 till late live music in the bars of town and great concert and DJs in the main square. DON'T FORGET TO GO DRESSED UP!
  • 19 March - from 11:00 - Big day of San José, with solemn mass, traditional dances, tasting of local products, circus show for the whole family and live music by Canallas del Guateque.
  • 20 March - 21:30 - Rock a s'Olivera in Es Racó Verd, a music contest for local bands.
  • 21 and 22 March - from 12:00 - VIU SANT JOSEP!, street party from midday to dusk, with food, live music, drinks, magic, skating and entertainment for the whole family.
  • 29 March - 10:00 - Nordic Walk from Cala Bassa to Cala Conta.
  • 29 March - 11:00 - Vintage cars exhibition in the town centre.
  • 5 April - 8:00 to 14:00 - DEM-LI GAS, car rally contest in the football pitch of San Agustín.
  • 11 April - 21:00 - SANT PEPE ROCK, legendary rock festival in the parking of Cas Vildo. Free entry.
