These apartments could not possibly be in a better position in one of Ibiza's favourite family resorts, situated at the quiet end of a road and right by the long sandy beach.

Sal Rossa

For splashtastic fun the wide choice of aquatic sports available at the beach is bettered only by the giant slides at the Aguamar Waterpark, just a few minutes walk away.

Also within strolling distance are the many souvenir shops, bars, restaurants and fun spots which make Playa den Bossa a firm family favourite.

And for a sophisticated night on the town, the historic city of Ibiza a short taxi or bus ride away.

The 77 one-bedroom apartments are in low-level blocks and Spotlight clients will automatically be given the air-conditioned rooms which are on the first floor but as there is no lift they may not be suitable for the elderly or disabled.

Each apartment has a kitchen with fridge and electric cooker and is cleaned three times a week. In addition, strong boxes can be hired at reception and there's a courtesy room and luggage facilities for those whose flight may be late in the day.

During the day the swimming pool and kids' splash section is the place to be with views right across the clear blue Mediterranean Sea to the island of Formentera. The poolside snack bar serves breakfasts, snacks and meals from 9AM to 10 PM so that all clients need worry about is how brown they are!

night

By night there's also a full entertainment programme for young and old, with shows, karaoke and singers, provided by the Sal Rossa Bar and the bar of the Migjorn Apartments next door.

It's understandable why the Sal Rossa has become so popular with families in the school holidays and with couples and friends in the low season, it's just the perfect situation for a relaxed holiday. Its facilities and entertainment give clients the option to take it easy and stay put, while its proximity to the resort's excellent choice of activities make it an ideal base for getting out and about.

Playa den Bossa itself provides well for a typical sun and beach holiday, but is ideally positioned for the more adventurous to discover the beautiful island of Ibiza. Close by, Ibiza town is a World Heritage centre full of culture, history, not to mention designer bars and shops, whilst the Las Salinas salt pans, nature reserve and beach are a short distance away.

The friendly reception staff at the Sal Rossa will be happy to help clients who wish to reserve a hire car to see the island at their leisure, or to arrange excursions by land and sea for those who prefer group travel.

After going to Ibiza upto 4 times a year for the last 15 years, I finally decided to try the Sal Rossa. Why oh why did I wait so long. Wonderful friendly staff, lovely apartment, clever layout and thoroughly enjoyable break despite the dreadful weather. Only thing that did shock me was price of drinks but then again they were BIG measures. And the exchange rate in reception best in resort and way above uk. Will definitely go again but would possibly go similar time and not in peak due to location

This is the second time I've stayed in Sal Rossa and I have to say that I'm really pleased to have returned. A quiet hotel where you can get a good nights sleep, yet it's a stones throw from Bora Bora and so a great location if you want an afternoon / evening dance before moving out to Pacha (10 mins in a cab). The staff are friendly and welcoming, and the hotel has a great friendly atmosphere. It seems to be a mix of family / clubbing guests, which for us was perfect. Not a 'mad by night mad by day' venue, a relaxing beach side place that is perfect for those who want to avoid the hedonistic hotel !
