I cannot stress how great this hotel is. I came from Australia and stayed there for the closing summer weekend in San Antonio and Ibiza. The price is unbeatable, upon arrival I was told that I had been upgraded to a three bed apartment overlooking pool and beach for no extra charge, amazing. The place is spotlessly clean in all the private and public areas. You cannot beat the location of it being on the beach and it's proximity to everything. Tasty breakfasts personally cooked and served by owners. A very comprehensive menu for meals and a full bar. Bart, the owner loves to throw in shots of various drinks on the house for you while standing at the bar. His interaction with the guests is hilarious and genuine. His wife is just as dedicated. My hope is that everyone coming to Ibiza would stay at sol Bahia. I will be definitely coming back. cheers Bart, you are amazing!

This was my 6th or 7th visit to the Island.. ive stayed in a couple of other apartments / hotels... but to be honest, i wouldnt stay anywhere else again...This was my 4th stay in Sol Bahia...all in Front Sea View apartments..
The staff are friendly, and do their best to please you and make youre stay a safe and happy one.

Sol Bahia is situated on the Sunset Strip but a little further round just past The Golden Buddha and Kanya, both popular for the Sunsets. The views from the Sea View apartments are fantastic, and if you arnt bothered about going along to Mambo and Cafe Del Mar every night, you can sit on your balcony and watch the sunsets and just take it easy.
Sol Bahia is perfect for those who like to enjoy the night life and crawl in at 8am, but dont want the roudiness of the poolside the next day.. its really peaceful by the poolside here, so you can stay in bed all day and not be disturbed, or you can sleep by the poolside, and recharge your batteries ready to start all over again..

The rooms are clean, and basic, but i personaly feel tha the apartments are worth more than the 2* rating it has. (so long as they dont increase the prices) lol...

A wonderful, pleasantly located accomodation, clean, tidy, friendly, quiet, yet only ten minutes walk from the west end.

Although myself and my girl only stayed for 4 days the resort was absoultely perfect, far enough away from the madness of the West end and close enough to walk to all the cool cafes such as Mambo's and Cafe Del Mar. Go for the sea view overlooking the pool, has got nice balcony to sit and chill. Rooms were very clean and tidy and the service was amazing, the staff always took care of our every need and were friendly and fun

I would recommend the Sol Bahia appartments to anybody

Stayed for 5 nights in September. Decided to take a short break in Ibiza and the Sol Bahia apartments were just right for us we had stayed there before so knew what to expect.
Although the apartments are a little old fashioned the place is spotlessly clean and the staff very friendly and helpful.
Will probably stay there again sometime and would certainly recommend them.

After reading the reviews on here we were not dissapointed.

The location is perfect, 10-15 min walk from Mambo/Cafe Del Mar along the sunset strip.

The apartment was bigger than we had expected, very clean and the bedding was changed daily.

Both my girlfriend & I are just in our 40's & wanted a clubbing holiday mixed with relaxing days by the pool so we were pleased it was not full of youngsters doing the 18-30 type thing. The days were very chilled around the pool area.

The food was fine.

The staff were very friendly & helpful.

Overall, 9/10 - great value for money & a friendly service. I would not bother in future looking for anywhere else in San Antonio, I would just book up right here at the Sol Bahia.

There is no doubt that we will be back in 2012.

The Sol Bahia helped towards us having a fantastic holiday in Ibiza

Had an amazing stay at Sol Bahia. I would definitely recommend paying the extra amount for a full sea frontal apartment because it was fantastic. Amazing view over the bay and pool, and got some pretty great pictures of the sunset.
Apartment was a good size with everything you need. Staff were friendly and helpful and complex was well kept with room servicing every day. Great location just north of San Antonio town - easy walking distance but quiet so you didn't have to deal with all the English chavs!
Only negative is that we were really excited for the Thursday night BBQ, but when we went down for it we were told that they were no longer available. (this should be removed from their website then!)
We will definitely be staying here again next time we hit up Ibiza.

We were all very happy with Sol Bahia. The location is perfect and the rooms/views are amazing. We watched the sunset on the first night from Cafe Mambo but every other night from our balcony as the view was better.

The staff were very friendly and the hotel is very well appointed - great pool and bar area. Food really nice and reasonable prices.

Me and my boyfriend stayed in the Sol Bahia in August (2011). We had a one bedroom apartment overlooking the sea, the apartment was spacious and spotless clean - you couldn't fault it. The view from the balcony was beautiful.
The pool area is gorgeous, when your lying at the pool you can see right out onto the sea. The staff are extrememly friendly. It is mostly families and couples who stay here.

It's a short 15 min to the West End...you can walk the long way past Mambo etc if you prefer the scenic route! Or if your feeling lazy, its only about €5 in a taxi to the West End.

Compared to the other hotels/apartments in San Antonio this is on the more expensive side. One tip, if you really want to stay here...the sea view is beautiful, but we watched the sunset from Golden Buddha (right beside apartment) every night - if I was staying here again (and we will!) I probobly wouldn't pay extra for the view!

We spend another 3 weeks at Sol Bahia Apartments and it is simply the best place to hang out and relax. They have THE most friendly staff and they also smile and make you feel very welcome all the time. The rooms are large and very clean. We always have a sea view apartment and it is amazing. After 11 years in Ibiza, I/we have found our home away from home.

People looked at us like we were mad when I said that we'd chosen Ibiza for a honeymoon, they knew what we were like though & Yeah we'd been to Mexico & Thailand in recent times, beautiful places & we loved them, BUT the nightlife wasn't the same, we always remembered Ibiza & in particular our 3 previous stays at the Sol Bahia Apartments! :-)........This time was no different, the place looked as good as ever, the owner Bartollo recognised us from before when we checked in, a complimentary bottle of cava in recognition of our wedding was a lovely touch! :-)
The level of service seemed even higher than we remembered it, everyone Happy to see you & polite, restaurant recommendations etc......

A certain superstar DJ also likes to hang out there as I'd spotted him before, well he was there again & the owner got him to do us a signed CD, with a tribute to our wedding on it, something i'll never forget! Thank you Bartollo & family once again for a magical time, we will return! :-)

First time for me here, 3rd time for my girlfriend.
We came as a couple, she's been before with an all girl group.
The location is fantastic, you can watch the sunset if you're sea facing.
Short walk to great bars, far enough away to be quiet when you want peace.
Wonderful, friendly staff, nice little pool, great food and reasonable drinks at the bar.
Room was perfectly clean, the kitchenette had all that would be needed, bed was comfortable; wish it was a double and not a twin room, only downer.

Will most certainly be staying again, it's top of my list in San Antonio.

The Sol Bahia Apartments was recommended to us by a friend and I'm glad to say it did not disappoint. We found the staff to be very friendly, the location to be ideal (perfect for the sunsets and quite tranquil, quiet and peaceful), the rooms very clean and pleasant and the cost to be very reasonable compared to other places.

The apartment is only a 5-10 minute walk along the coast to the sunset bars including Cafe Del Mar and is about a 15-20 minute walk to San Antonio!

The cost of the food and drink was slightly excessive but that goes for all of Ibiza I guess. Overall I would recommend this apartment block to other people and when I return to Ibiza I will definitely be staying in Sol Bahia.

the apartments were georgeous, really big and always kept clean ! staff were lovely always friendly and giving us free shots ! i stayed with 5 of my friends on a girls holiday we were fairly noisy and were asked to keep the music down at night a few times. The sunset from the balcony was the best thing well worth paying extra for!

We stayed at Sol Bahia apartments for a long hen weekend in May 2011. We reserved 5 apartments and all of them were great for the price we paid. The apartments are really big, the beds are comfortable, the bathrooms are clean, and there are flat screen TVs in each one. There is also a nice small-ish pool which looks out onto the sea, and a nice restaurant. The staff are amazing and very obliging. The apartments are a taxi ride away from the main San Antonio strip, which means it's quiet and peaceful. They are a 15 minute walk away from Cafe del Mar, Cafe Mambo and a bunch of really nice restaurants / lounge bars overlooking the sea. A fantastic place, I would definitely come back!

This place was extremely clean!! We had no problems at all. The people working there (I'm sure they're a family) are some of the nicest people you'll meet in Ibiza! When I return to Ibiza I will for sure stay here again. The price is right, the location is amazing.. it's very quiet at night but you're only a 10min walk from all the activities. GREAT place.

This is our second year at Sol Bahia. We were so impressed last year we returned this year for our honeymoon. This hotel is a real hidden gem as long as you don't mind a small walk to the heart of San Antonio's West End.
The hotel & apartments are spotless. Staff are very friendly & obliging. Apartments are spacious in size, so too are the balconies, the view from the front facing apartments is quite special. Nice little pool & sun lounging area.
Location wise it's great. There's a couple of small beaches nearby, one just a stones throw along the promenade which despite it's size never seems to get too crowded. Another beach in the other direction is extremely pretty and a great find, again not too busy.
There are plenty of nearby streets where you can find cafe's, restaurants, cash point, car hire, grocery stores & mini supermarkets all just within 5 minutes walk.
Just a 5 minute walk along the beach front & you arrive at ibiza's famous sunset strip, perfect for sunset at Cafe Mambo, Cafe Del Mar etc. A further 10 minutes walk & you reach San Antonio's West End.
Can't recommend this hotel enough. Our only criticism is that the hotel boasts wi-fi, but when we were there it was not available. Other than this, top marks all round.

Stayed here 5 years ago and it didn't disappoint with a return trip this September.

The place is clean and in a great location, the people who stay here are always great and the facilities compliment the apartments.

Can't fault it!

Only niggle is the beds, after a few nights out they're not the most comfortable, but it wouldn't stop me booking up again next year.

Sol Bahia is a quiet apartments block, in a great location, just along from the sunset bars in San An.

Rooms are large with separate living / dining / sleeping areas. Just be sure to ask for a room on the 3rd floor with a sunset view.

For the money paid you could not beat this hotel. We were a group of 9 and this hotel was close enough to walk to all the bars but far enough out to have a relaxing day by the pool. Food was also really good and not bad value. It had everything we needed, I would stay here again and would recommend to anyone - very good value for money!

Stayed here for 5 nights with 2 friends, the apartment was basic but very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. We had the seafront apartment and had the most beautiful view of the sunset every night from the balcony.
The pool area was very clean and quiet during the days, staff always very friendly and helpful.
I saw the BBQ night they do on Thursday but wasn't able to make it down as we had other dinner commitments that night, the food looked amazing though, very popular with the locals which is always a good sign.
Food in the bar was good quality too.
All in all a fab place, excellent location, not to far or too close to the party night life, only about 6 euros into town by cab.
Will definitely return and recommend to friends.

We had an excellent time at the Sol Bahia. This was my 3rd trip to San Antonio and by far the best hotel I have stayed in.

The location was amazing. The hotel sits right on the beach and from the front facing rooms there is a fantastic view of the sunset. Sitting at the pool you can overlook the ocean and beach. Its about a 10-15 minute walk into the west end but we liked this as it meant our hotel and the area surrounding was quiet for when we needed to catch up on our sleep!

The rooms were great, very clean and very spacious. The kitchen facilities were also much better than any other self catering apartment I have stayed in. The storage for clothes was by far the best I have ever come across.

The food at the hotel was very good and very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend the BBQ on a Thursday night. The amount and quality of food that we got was amazing and it is set out by the poolside, what a lovely evening we had sitting there.

The staff were great, very friendly and helpful. This hotel has very much a homely feel to it. We had a great holiday here and will be returning in the future.

Best place I've stayed in Ibiza full stop! Amazing price, amazing location, roomy apartments, great view, great food, relaxed guest policy and no idiots! Place was cleaned every day, nicely stocked kitchen, massive bathroom, large flat screen tv, big wardrobes, comfy beds, the works!

I found the apartment using the Ibiza spotlight website, and despite being initially sceptical owing to a 2 star rating, was incredibly pleasantly surprised. We stayed in a sea view facing three bed room; the room was very clean and had a very nice open feel, ideal for the one person staying in the living room on the sofa-bed (this incidentally was very comfortable, not like most sofa-beds at all).

The pool was very nice and not busy at all, and the apartment block is located a safe 10mins from the likes of Kanya beach - which is a bit tacky - but not so far that you can't walk past it to the like of Cafe Del Mar, Mint, Mambo and the other quality waterfront bars. Sunsets viewed from this balcony were to die for as well.

However, the thing that made the stay so good was the staff. As long as you do your very best to try and speak Spanish (and why shouldn't you?) they are incredibly accommodating, and serve some great food which is really rather cheap too; a good option for a quick bite before clubbing. I would definitely consider staying here again for a relaxed, quality Ibiza experience, just far enough away from the crowds that you have your own quiet time, but not so far you can't join in when you want to.

Have just arrived back from a fabulous holiday at the Sol Bahia and will definitely be returning next year. The apartments are fantastic, the friendly staff greet you on arrival with a free beer and the apartments themselves are spotless, extremely spacious with breathtaking views over the sea. Situated only five minutes walk from sunset strip and ten minutes walk from the west end. There is a lovely selection of restaurants in the vicinity of the apartments including the infamous Kanya bar where you can also purchase tickets for the different nights, and the tranquil kasbah restaraunt overlooking the sea. The staff could not have done enough to ensure we had a pleasant stay, there is a spacious pool and the pool area itself overlooks the secluded bay area with unparalleled views of the sunset all from the comfort of your sunlounger. There is no problem with playing your own music at the pool area, albeit at a reasonable level, and also in your apartments. Situated on the beachfront, there is a selection of boats for rental at very reasonable prices. The night watchman in the Sol Bahia is extremely friendly and all the staff are happy to call for taxis at anytime day or night. The owner himself chats to you throughout your stay and the whole experience is a lot more personal then a stay in the more commercial complexes. So if you are looking for excellent service, friendly staff, fabulous apartments in a perfect location, then the Sol Bahia is definitely the place to stay!

I stayed here for 2 nights, having spent a few nights at another hotel close by and I was amazed at the difference in quality when the price was quite similar. The rooms here are spacious, cool and airy, well equipped with kitchen appliances, TV, hairdryer etc. The balcony was big enough to comfortably spend a few hours on, looking over the sea.
The location is fantastic - really close to all the bars but just far enough out that there is no street noise and the rooms were surprisingly quiet too.
The pool is small but very clean and well positioned - the view is again of the sea.
I will definitely be going back to the Sol Bahia again and will be staying longer next time!

Hola.

Just back home from Ibiza. We stayed 3 weeks in a front-view apartment and is it simply the best. Sol Bahia is a place to relax, recover and enjoy. Have stayed here before and will be staying here again. The staff is the best on the whole island. They always smile and make you feel welcome and they are also one of the reasons why we would be coming back.

Big spacious rooms and bathroom. Air-con worked perfectly in all rooms and a lovely side sea-view.

Great for couples or groups.

Perfect location, right on the beach, lovely and quiet during the day when you want to sunbath and chill by the pool after a nights clubbing, but still only a 5-10 minute walk to the Sunset Bars, and only a 10-15 minute walk into San Antonio town (Westend). No need for taxi's.

You must not miss out on the BBQ every Thursday, only 20 EURO's and they really put on a feast!! Eat as much as you want and the food is great! 5 of us were stuffed after!

Reception is manned 24 hours, so this always comes in handy. Also helpful with booking taxi's to airport.

Have already booked to stay again this September, love Ibiza & highly recommend these apartments.

I just am back from 2 weeks in Ibiza (last week of July/1st week of August 2010) My stay started at the Sol Bahia apts for 4 nights, and it was the absolute perfect start. It is incredible value to pay only 90 Euros for this place. It is right on the water, the apartments are spacious, fully eqipped (pans/pots/knives/etc), ultra clean, great air conditioning, an ocean view off the balcony. The staff was great, the pool out front is very nice and has the ocean right behind it. There's a great little bar/restaurant area to buy anything you want by the pool. But you won't need the pool because just a short walk to the left (facing the ocean) is my favorite little beach on the island - just a little nook with a great local feel that holds maybe 150 tourists, nice sand and a great spot to enter the sea. Just a little further that direction you can wander into town (San Antonio) to the Sunset Strip to catch the amazing sunset, but honestly the best sunset view is right from the hotel - stand out beyond the pool wall and it sets right beside a building in the distance, amazing.

In any case, I would recommend this for your whole stay but I generally only recommend San Antonio for a few nights, unless you are a Brit who loves to overdrink in the mix on the West End every day. Start your stay here rather than in Ibiza town because it is on the beach with a cool little city to explore and the amazing sunsets, as opposed to just a city. Highly recommend for your San Ant time.

These apartments were basic but clean and tidy. The location was just around bay from Cafe Del Mar, (10m walk max) and far enough to get some peace and quite when you want it.
There is a bar, pool and meals were available there. If you want a place to stay far enough away from the action but close enough to walk to where it all happens then this place is it. It also felt safe. I would consider staying here again. Cost was reasonable. Service was ok.

Very clean hotel, immaculate apartments. Kitchenette a bit old & basic but perfectly adequate. Staff were helpful, obliging, friendly & curteous.
Great location- far enough away to be quiet & tranquil any time of day but close enough to walk to the heart of San Antonio. Only a 5-10 minute walk to the famous sunset strip bars.
Would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to stay a little way from the madness at the heart of San antonio. We plan to go back to this hotel next year.

This is a superb little hotel, the owner Bart is extremely efficient and friendly as are all the other staff. Then rooms are functional and clean and offer good value. The location is outside the chaos of the West End and Sunset Strip, so you get a quiet nights sleep. Pay a little bit more that the cheap hotels and you get a much better holiday experience. I stayed here with a group of friends for a week in June 2010. There is nothing bad to say about this place! The rooms were spotless and were cleaned, beds made etc everyday.

The family who run the hotel were very friendly and couldnt do enough for us. It is also in a perfect location, quiet in the day very close to a lovely beach but only a five minutes walk to the sunset bars for fun at night.

We all would highly recommend the bbq on Thursdays. Extremely good value for money and we were all stuffed afterwards!

We would all definitely stay here again, in fact we plan to next year.

Beautiful location, clean, great facilities, warm and friendly people...really couldn't have asked for anything more and thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. I am planning on coming back to Ibiza time and time again and this is the one place i will be hoping to stay at each time....so glad i found you!!! My boyfriend and I stayed at Sol Bahia for 5 nights. Our room was great and much bigger than we had expected - with a sitting room, kitchen, balcony and large bathroom. A bargain for the price. The rooms were cleaned everyother afternoon which was fine as we were always out.

The hotel is run by a friendly family. They greet you with a free beer upon arrival. The pool area is nice and fairly chilled out. Drinks are a bit pricey, but the food is reasonablly priced and good.

We liked that this hotel was on the outskirts of San Antonio as we wanted to avoid the noise late at night. It was just a short walk through the town or along the beach line to get into San Antonio or to the bus station for trips to Space, etc. Taxi back from Ibiza and Playa den Bosa was around 25-30 euros.

We would definitely recommend this hotel.
