When my wife and I who are in our late sixties, arrived at Reception at 2.00pm, it was closed, and a note on the window instructed us to knock for attention. When someone finally arrived we were given a key and a tiny map of the complex and were told in an offhanded manner that our apartment was up and across the street in block Dolores. It was raining quite sharply and when we finally found the apartment on the top floor about 20 minutes later, we were very wet and quite exhausted. In my opinion, someone from Reception should have accompanied to the apartment, it would have been much easier.
The apartment was first class. It had obviously just been re-furbished.
The actual buildings on the complex gave one the impression that they had seen better days and were in need of some rendering and a coat of paint.
The pool was fine, but the surround was uninviting and lacked good quality sunbeds and facilities.
We did not use any of the amenities because quite frankly,we did not see any. Instead, we preferred the fifteen mimute walk down the hill into Santa Eulalia which is very nice.
I complained at Reception that the TV in our room had 97 foreign channels and only 3 English channels (news) and was met with a blank look which I took to mean 'so what'
We have been been to Ibiza several times and love Santa Eulalia and will go again, but not to Siesta Mar which appears unsuitable for English visitors.
This is an honest review, we are not moaners.
We had a nice holiday.

We stood there in May 2008. The Siesta Mar is not quite comfotable, not really modern, we guess it is from the early 80th. BUT: it is very clean there AND the stuff is soooo nice! Nothing was a problem: not enough towels: Ask them, you get them. The clean up the rooms every two days - we havn't expect that. The place is quiet and you can get to all points at Ibiza quite fast.
You have some little shops in the neigbourhood and some good restaurant - good decition!

We found the apartments clean and tidy and spacious enough for 2 adults and 1 toddler. The only down side was we had to keep the windows closed at night as there was some noise from the traffic, as our apartment was on a busy road.It would also have been nice to have more comfortable furniture to sit on as the furniture was cane and not very comfortable. The grounds were well kept, the bar area by the pool was nice and the food was really good. You could get a nice cup of fresh coffee or a cold beer and sit by your sunbed. The pool and childrens pool was cold and definitely not heated Which you could do with late September. There was maid service and towel change regularly. The walk into town took about 20 mins and slightly downhill till you got to the river. There was a supermarket just down the road where we got warm fresh coissants and pastries in the morning. There was also a couple of restaurants within 5 mins if you didn't want to go far in the evening. We had a lovely holiday and would recommend The Siesta Mar.

We have just returned from a weeks stay at the Siesta Mar Apartments and have had a wonderful time. rnrnThe apartment was spacious, clean and well equipped. The complex was well maintained and extremely pretty. The reception staff were extremely helpful and ensured that our apartment had a cot and a highchair for our 1 year old son, both of which were immaculate.rnrnThe apartments are located a ten minute walk away from the beach, however this was not a problem as it is a pleasent walk and there is a fabulous pool on the complex. rnrnThere is a selection of good bars and restaurants in the surronding area, especially the Siestamar Grill.rnrnThe only negative comment we have to make is that the supermarket next door to reception was very expensive.rnrnWe would highly recommend anyone to book the SiestaMar Apartments through Ibiza Spotlight. The holiday was great value for money and trouble free.

We have just returned from two weeks holiday in Ibiza at Siesta Mar Apartments. The pool and bar area is wonderful ,even better than we expected. The food in Ibiza is also of a high standard and we strongly recomend 'The grill' and 'La Paella' restaurants just around the corner from the apartments. Our only complaint is that ,although the apartment had a lovely view and was sunny all day long the cleanliness was not as good as we would have liked it to be. Also it was failrly compact for a family of four with the second bedroom being very small. Overall though, we had a lovely time and would recommend this complex to other families.

Where am I?
