I spent 3 nights in the Roca Hostel and cannot complain. For the price we paid, it was well worth it. It's in an Ideal location (just off the west end) and the staff are friendly. The rooms itself was probably a bit tight for 3 people but as I said for the price we paid it was grand. The maids cleaned it every day, had it's own bathroom with shower facilities. There was also a safe in the room. Internet available at reception as well.
I will probably visit again.

Have been to San Antonio the past three years and definitely have to rate the Roca Hostel as the best place I have stayed.
The rooms were clean and tidy and I can't rate the staff any higher.
We were always greated when we entered or left the hostel and liked the fact the key had to be left behind reception before you left the premises.
We were concerned it was going to be too noisy being near the west end, but even with the windows open we did not hear any noise the whole week.
Would definitely recommend this hostel to my friends and family to stay at.

I spend in Roca Hostel 1 week. It was the cheapest one at the time. Good location in San Antonio town- close to shops, restaurants, 5min walk to sandy beach. Not really quiet at night, but usually you are out for the night anyway ;)
I was nice supprised with the room service - cleaner was in my room everyday with fresh towel. Nice.
I'll recomend this hostel for cheap stay in Ibiza.

We've just got back from an eight day stay at Roca Hostel and we absolutely loved it! At firt we were a little bit unimpressed with the rooms and bathroom but as the week went on we realised that it was actually perfect and exactly what we needed. The rooms get cleaned everyday/every other day and the reception staff are so friendly and the desk is open 24 hours so you can come and go as you please even if its 7 in the morning! Bearing in mind the amount that we paid i think we got a really good deal and the hostel is in the best location - one street away from the main strip - the west end and 5 minutes from the beach. Can't wait to go back next year.

Wasn't expecting a palace but was pleased with what we got considering the price we paid. Air con and a safe at no extra cost were an unexpected bonus. No pool due to its location. The little market street its located on is nice and surprisingly quiet considering your the next street over is the west end. New towels and bed change every day and friendly staff.
Basic accommodation but great if all your using it for is to get your head down for a few hours.

We stayed in the Roca for 4 nights in Mid August - peak season but this hotel was still very cheap.
The staff were extremely friendly and always available and smiling. The cleaners were also friendly and were available to clean the room every day including Sunday.
We had a great time there, the location is perfect with a small supermarket over the road which was perfect for essentials. Although there is a slightly cheaper supermarket up the hill, to the left and past Subway on the right hand side.
While the facilities were pretty non-existent, this wasn't what we booked the hotel for, so we can't complain.
I would recommend the Roca for anyone looking for a room to stay in in San Antonio, but only if you want all your meals out and don't intend to spend much time in the room.

Roca is perfect for a clubbing break. Rooms are basic, but have a room safe and aircon at no extra charge.
It's in a great location, right in the mixer next to the West End Bars, but is on a nice little side road that is quiet at night.
To be honest, they could charge more here. I have stayed at other places in San An that were much more expenive and did not offer what Roca does.
Staff were friendly and reception is manned 24 hours.
My only gripe is that we were on the 4th floor... There is no lift so it's a bit of a climb - Not ideal after a heavy night out! But I'm really being picky.
A great spot - You needn't stay anywhere else in San An.

Cheap hotel right in the centre of san antoni. Surprisingly quiet considering the location. Air-conditioned. Staff very helpful and 24 hour reception. Facilities/decoration basic but good. Excellent price.

Stayed in the Roca 5 times now and is as good as ever - nothing ever changes. The rooms are basic but are clean, have en suite and everything you need, and now have air conditioning included which is brilliant.
The location is very central to the west end so great for going straight out into town if your wanting a lively holiday and to explore the sun set bars but is set back on a quieter street and you actually don't hear any of the noise at night at all.
Staff are very friendly and will assist you with all you need. Would recommend and will be back again next year

Our twin room was very simple, but was all we really needed. Beds, drawers, wardrobe. Glad we chose somewhere with aircon. Curtains blocked out all the light so perfect for sleeping during the day ;) Shower was good and the beds were comfy. Cleaners came everyday and like some of the reviews said, they can be noisy, but was not a big deal. Had 2 computers at reception to hire for internet also which was handy.

Stayed for 4 nights at Roca Hostel at end of august.
Staff are all very friendly and helpful.
Room reasonably small, but clean and air con and safety deposit box included in price. our room looked onto a wall, so if you get claustrophobic may not be for you! however, for what we paid was great value for money, we were only in the room to sleep, and would stay again. close to the beach, shops, taxi rank and west end, but was actually very quiet we didnt get disturbed atall.
if you are coming to ibiza for some serious partying, and just need a crash pad, would definately recommend!

Great Location, Clean Rooms, friendly staff, cheap prices! What more can you ask for!! If doing Ibiza on a budget so you have more spending money definitely the place to stay. Me and my 5 girlies had a great time in Ibiza and staying here meant we had more money to party with! No swimming pool but beach 5 min walk! All in all 10/10!!

Return to Roca for 9 nights and had a even better stay then last year. The staff is very nice and helpful. We like the fact that there is always someone at the front desk 24/7, it make us feel very safe. The price is unbeatable for what you get. Good working A/C, a safe, fresh tower daily. We like the fact that it is in a middle of town but at the edge of the noisy West-End. 3 minutes walk to the Bus station, close to mini mart, coffee shops, Shopping and 10 minutes walk Sunset bars is also great. There is no WIFI, but 2 computer stations in the lobby for 1 euro and you can also print your boarding pass from it for a small fee.

Hostel Roca was just perfect. Smack bang in the centre of San An, walking distance to all restaurants, bars, shops and the beach. The hostel was clean and safe. Check in and check out were both hassle free, and the room was Air Conditioned.
Very reasonably priced also - €60 a night for a 3 bed room!!
All good!

when looking for a hotel for my 5 day session i basically looked for a balance between price and location. this was the cheapest hotel and had the best location for what i wanted this time round. it is right in the middle of town but on a quiet street so i a quick 1 minute walk to the taxi rank by the fountains. 5mins to sunset strip. the hotel itself is basic but is what you need is all you want is a bed and a shower. would recommend this to anyone wanting good value for money and a secure place for you stuff :)

We booked Hostel Roca at the last minute, and booked 5 nights stay. It doesn't offer you luxury but it is clean, very central and the room we had, had air-con and was very quiet. Didn't want or need anything else. The guys on reception were helpful and as it's manned 24hrs it was safe to come back in the early morning. I would definitely book a room here again (if they'll have us!) and would recommend to anyone looking for a cheap, clean place to crash in the middle of San Antonio!

Yeah, cannot say anything wrong about Roca Hostel. You get what you pay for people say and Roca Hostel is no different. It's probably the cheapest accommodation on the Island and I was a bit skeptical at first but as soon as checked in I was pleased with my choice. I booked a double room for myself so the room was spacious enough, clean with working AC and free of charge safe in a drawer. rooms are cleaned everyday, probably when you still asleep so don't forget to put 'do not disturb' on the door knob lol You're in the middle of west-end but street away from bars and clubs so it's also quiet. Opposite hostel there's an off license with cheap booze and ice and all you need to warm out before partying!
In general, 100% worthy!

I stayed in Hostal Roca with two of my girl mates 30th July-6th August 2010 we had a triple room and it was very clean, it's the best (& cheapest) accommodation I've had in San Antonio this summer & I've been to Ibiza 3 times this summer staying in San Ant all 3 times. A safety deposit box and A/C were included in the price of our room which was fantastic value for money. clean towels were provided every day if you let them clean your room you can put a do not disturb sign on your door and they don't knock your door. we were right next to the west end but we couldn't hear the music in our room at all. the room was spacious and clean we felt very safe and secure they don't let non-guests go past reception at night, the only issue was no lift but that didn't really bother us even though were on the 4th floor. I have given them 5 out of 10 for facilities because being a "hostal" they had no pool or cafe & the internet was very expensive- 1euro per fifteen minutes. But if you want a clean safe spacious room to sleep and get ready in it's perfect also we only had one plug socket so we had to take it in turns with the GHD's and blow dryer but being such good friends that didn't bother us at all.
