A great little hotel: well positioned in the resort, basic rooms but very clean and nice little roof top pool, was completely ruined by unresponsive, rude, patronising staff. What a shame!
I've actually gone to the length of writing a letter of complaint and having it translated into Spanish in order to express my unhappiness to the management. For your sake and the sake of their business I hope my comments are taken onboard. Approach with caution.

Great Locaton !! This Hotel is functional and a very far way off luxury. That said there are beds, clean sheets, towels and functional showers. The Hotel was also quiet at night even with the balcony door open (No Aircon). Afterall this is Ibiza, the time spent in the Hotel or your room should be very minimum. We did not take breakfast at the hotel so cannott comment on that service. That said a Restaurant called FUSION on the sea front did an excellent Museli, Live Yoghurt and Fresh fruit for about 6 Euros, the evening food there was magnificent too.
Overall had a brilliant holiday and proberbly would will use this hotel again.

Needs air conditioning, a television and a mini bar at the least. we stayed for a week and would expect these amenities to be included rather than having to pay an extra 23 euro for a fan!!! as for the cleaners, our floor was not swept once, most days they came in and did not even change the towels however made the beds when we didnt even use the sheets because it was so dam HOT. priorities for guests need to be reviewed as ibiza is known for its hot weather and although you probably dont expect your guests to spend much time in their rooms, the fact remains that we still need somewhere to recuperate at times during our stay. this is what hotel rooms are intended for. we will probably look for alternate accommodation upon our next visit to ibiza.

Great value for money if you are looking for a place to be your base on Ibiza. The hotel is 50m from the beach with good transport links (better if you rent a car, but it's hard to park around). The room is simple but clean toels changed everyday and beds changed every two days. No mini fridge or TV (but you won't need it) good shower. the breakfast is simple, without fruits. But on the hotel street there are many places to eat, specially a tapas restaurant called Home Loos around the corner, excellet! The pool on the roof is a plus (but we never used it, it's better go dive on the sea don't u think?). I recomend it if you are lookink for a hotel not so expensive and with all the confort you need to crash after enjoying all the wonderful things Ibiza has to offer!

Comfortable enough for a quick holiday stay. Good location - across the street from the beach, close to shops and restaurants. Walking distance to Space and there's a taxi stand across the street from the hotel as well.

The hotel suited our needs perfectly. The room was a great size, although the bathroom had no windows as was therefore very dark with not great lighting. The hotel is perfect location for the beach and the bus to the clubs. Staff were extremely friendly but the nighttime staff were surprisingly lacking in knowledge about venues and dress codes. Excellent value for money.

Basic rooms but clean and staff very friendly and helpful. Very handy for the beach and nice roof terrace with pool. Good value compared to some other local hotels.

This was my first stay at this hotel, I really enjoyed it and would definitely stay again, although we were there end Sept- October so it was not so hot outside. I can imagine that the rooms are very warm in july-august, so I would probably choose somewhere with a/c.rnrnOur room was also on the top floor (9th) so the noise from the road was not too bad either, however as other people have mentioned in their reveiws it can be a bit noisy.rnrnThe pool on the roof is amazing, there is a small area for sunbathing which was always v.quiet and peaceful and the views are amazing.rnrnThe rooms were basic but clean and towels changed daily. Didn't eat at the hotel so not sure what the food is like, there are lots of nice places nearby though.

The hotel is absolutely fine. If you get the right room. rnrnWe checked in right after another couple (who I don't think booked through Spotlight), refused to stay in their room. Their room was a tiny box room and reminded me of the claustrophobic rooms you find in many hotels in Bangkok. Ours was a comfy, spacious room complete with balcony. rnrnThe other couple left to seek alternative accommodation, we felt quite smug and content in ours. rnrnThe street below the hotel can make it a bit noisy, but you soon get used to it and it's not a big deal. rnrnThe breakfast is good and worth making, although by the end of your stay you'll probably tire of ham, cheese and eggs. But the town provides heaps more eating places and the beach is so close and so so lovely. rnrnAll in all, it's a decent hotel (once you find the right room), in a great location (can walk into Playa den Bossa - walk along the beach, it's much quicker) and with a great beach just across the road.rn

Great spot ! in the middle of the action a few min. to the center and a few min. to Space and Bora Bora. Roof pool is cool especialy in the morning when you want to rest after a hot night and the room maid is working. A+

I enjoyed staying at Don Quijote. Customer Service was great! I read the reviews before making my reservations but the hotel was better than I expected. The first night I felt I was not going to resitst the hot wheater specially with no A/C. But if you leave the windows open is ok. And you have always the option to rent a fan from the lobby. The view from the pool in the last floor is spectacular. I took a lot of pictures from there. Is beautiful! I also liked the fact that the hotel is in the heart of everything, right next to Ibiza town. It is very close to the port, a few blocks from the bus station, taxi station accross the street, and the stores are right there for all your shopping needs! If you want to go to Formentera island, there is a boat that parts from there. I found that to be very convenient since otherwise you have to go to the port and is always crowded. I really had a good time at Ibiza and if I go there again I will probably stay at Don Quijote again. It is not fancy if you are looking for a fancy hotel but is convenient and affordable ...Just one thing! be careful with the elevator it shuts too fast! Have a great vacation! I know you will at Ibiza ;)

we had a great time in this hotel , it had everything we needed.
only downside is the noisy location , take into consideration you will have to sleep with the terrace doors open because of the heat and for air.
but to be honest while the noise and heat bothered us the first 2 days , from the 3rd day on , whenever we got to the room we simply crashed in our beds and couldn't be bothered with anything (including the poor maid who came to clean and couldn't get in whenever we forget the key inside the door...).
only way to avoid the problem with the noise is if the hotel upgrade itself with air con or even a fan included in the price (4 euro's per day for 2 weeks , totaling in over 50 euro just didn't seem such a good deal to us).
but we did know all of this before coming.
for conclusion a great basic but clean hotel , would definetly stay there again.
