most things were good, staff on check out day were quite abrupt the only members of staff that were good was the crew down by the pool serving lunch etc and drinks. thier seemed to be an event on the nights we went in to the bar for a drink, difficult to get served extremly humid and un comfortable conditions which ended up we left to go else where.
i would have thought there would have been a seperate area for hotle guests ??
after spending nearly €3000 on a hotel for a week i would expect nothing but the best.
this has been my third stay in El Hotel and found it to be the only one i have found fault with not a lot but still faults. on previous occassions it was first class all the way.

Disappointingly average, particularly considering the room rates. Basic and rather spartan room, slightly shabby, terrible pool area, tiny and in shade most of the time.

Spent a week at El Hotel from March 20-26 2008 and had an amzing experience. The Hotel ended up more than living up to its web hype. The staff were fantastic in terms of hooking me up with specific things that I wanted to do around the Island - a task that might have otherwise been daunting given the fact that it was low season. The rooms were clean, spacious, and the room service was spot on. The breakfasts downstairs were out of this world. Met loads of interesting peeps downstairs in the club/lounge area, which of course is a nice little pre-party prior to heading off to Pacha. Four clubs nearby including Pacha, El Divinio, Grial, and Keeper. All in all a top notch experience.

Fab. Sadly spent just one night as a treat at El Hotel, but would do so every day of my Ibiza stay if i could afford to. If you can, you won't be disappointed! Thank you staff also for welcoming me back after I checked out to again use the pool facilities for the day... See you next year. LR, London

The hotel was fantastic. It was clean, tidy and everything we thought it would be from the descriptions given on the web site.
It has two different lifts one has a sparkly floor and neon lights and the other has two doors that open to different sides of the hotel and always has funky music playing, they really make you feel ready for a night out.
The rooms were fresh and clean. The bathrooms were just amazing, big and with a sliding mirrored door that would open up the whole room so that if you choose to shower in public of your guests sharing your room you can, its bizzare, but very cool.
The breakfast was great, lots of fresh fruit and Danishes and they even ask if you want fresh eggs anyway you like when you walk into the restaurant.
The pool was clean however the poolside area not so big and it only took 5 or 6 couples and it was full.
The hotel is situated across the road from pasha nightclub and getting in was a breeze as we were on the gust list each night we stayed at the hotel. The club is every bit as good as the hotel and is along the same standard of cleanliness and clientele. The only negative this I can honestly say about our stay was that the area immediately surrounding left a lot to be desired. It was like a building site and the smell of raw sewerage at times was awful. However just a short walk into the marina brings you into a lovely safe haven of restaurants and bars and also El Divinio club.
If you fancy a night in the hotel come with it own bar, however in true pasha style it is like no normal bar and come with its own live DJ and very funky seating and lighting. Leading out from the Bar is a patio area with your very own straw build gazebo and big square foam cushions surrounded by candles and delicate lighting very romantic and funky at the same time.
The hotel staff are friendly and there is a special desk in the lobby where you can ask questions about your stay, places to vast and information on the clubs and where to go and when.
All in all this Hotel is at the top of the league in clubbing hotels and is a fantastic place to stay for a very different as well as special and grown up experience of Ibiza.

El Hotel is gorgeous, sophisticated and extravagant (if you can afford to stay there peak season - check the Euro jump from low to mid to high),
Being right by Marina Botafoch, in Ibiza town, El Hotel is the perfect place to stay if you're over the "just need somewhere to sleep" phase of clubbing and are after a wholly more pleasurable, grown-up and refined experience. It's lovely, it's clean, the breakfast is great, (and included in the price). You get automatic guest list at Pacha, being a Hotel guest and you can walk into town.
Upon arrival, unfortunately, the usual Pacha "we're so cool, we don't need to smile" attitude is laid on thick and having arrived on the early flight (10am) we were greeted, eventually, by the front desk in a tired "yes, what do you want?” However, once we’d got chatting to them, they soon smiled and became more friendly and helpful as the days went on (but you want to be greeted nicely, appreciated and made a fuss of, when you've got up at 3am to get there - don’t you?)!
Room service needs a kick up the butt – 6 Euros for service before you’ve even ordered anything and a very small tuna sandwich, with two pieces of bread and some tuna in – no garnish, white bread (okay they cut the crusts off) and 6 Euros for this masterpiece! The burger and chips was good though. (Serves us right for being too tired to get into town for a proper meal)!
Definitely one of the best Hotels in Ibiza (and we've stayed almost everywhere in the southern half of the island)! Thoroughly recommended.
