We arrived late evening/early morning depending on which way you look at it - found the hotel very easily with the aid of Spotlight's own map system on the bookings page. On arrival, expected the usual slow service at that time, but nope, surprisingly friendly and helpful staff. Directed us to our room (very old elevator and scary if claustrophobic). Great apartment, first line sea view also overlooking the pool, lounge/kitchen, sep bedroom & bathroom, very very clean & newly decorated, 2 balconies, 1 from the lounge and 1 from the bedroom. A quiet hotel set away from the main San An Bay strip (5 min walk) but close to any amenity you could need inc. Dr's etc. Thoroughly recommend this hotel BUT not if you want an 18-30 atmosphere as it states no noise after midnight. Self Service breakfast (B&B) all decent enough.

Just returned from a 2-week stay, on half board basis, at the Aparthotel Nereida, and definitely recommend it.rnSpacious apartment, with two balconies, equipped with all the necessities. Air conditioning AND ceiling fans very efficient and easy to work. Comfortable beds, too, not hard like others I've had on holiday on this island.rnStaff are courteous, friendly and helpful, and most can 'manage' English!rnFood adequate and plentiful, and lots of choice, but felt a bit bland after 10 days. Being able to squeeze your own orange juice a nice touch though, as was the facility to have your toast EXACTLY as you like it! And breakfast can be taken in the dining room, or out on the terrace in the sunshine, or in the shade.rnLocation excellent, has its own rocky beach, but an area of it is flat, and has been sanded, so you don't have to leave the hotel if you choose not to. Plenty of sandy beaches around, easy to get to by bus (or on foot if you're brave enough to weather the walk in the heat!).rnHotel provides entertainment if you need it, but it's not intrusive if you don't, and the main street, a short stroll away, has all the shops, restaurants, bars, cafes, etc. you could need.rnKumharas cafe, and Irish Bar, and the water taxi across to San Antonio also a short stroll away.rnEverything you could want within easy reach, but no intrusive noise if what you want is a quiet, relaxing holiday.rnVery definitely highly RECOMMENDED.

A great family hotel, especially for the younger children.rnThis hotel is generally of a very high standard with only a few niggles to bring its overall score down. rnBroken and cracked tiles on the terraces, where bathers can cut their feet.rnOverall this hotel is clean, the staff are polite and helpful and the kids club had my 3 and 4 year olds crying when it was time to go home, as they had enjoyed their week so much.rnJorge and Melanie do a wonderful job. rnThe hotel is situated just far enough away from the small main street in San Antonio Bay that you will not be disturbed by any revellers. Although the town is not a noisey place thanks to the local laws enforcing party goers to drink inside the pubs at around 11 or 12 pm, not sure of the exact time.rnThe food in the hotel is pretty plain, although there is plenty of selection during each meal that even the fussiest person will find something to keep them fed.rnOver all , a great hotel and one my two children are still asking to return to now 8 weeks since we have returned home.

This hotel was one of the cleanest we've ever stayed in.rnThe staff, were all very friendly from the management down to the cleaners, and they spoke very good English. rnrnThe rooms have both air con and a ceiling fan. You actually wake up cold in the night!rnThe food was OK, (I'm a little fussy if it's not English!)but it looked very nice. rnrnThe thing that I was pleased about, was that you always got a sunbed! Even if you came down after lunch!!rnThe pool is deep though. I could just about stand up in the shallowest end, but there were plenty of lilos.rnrnThe one downside, for me was the beach. The hotel is right on the beach, but it is rocky.rnTo get to a decent beach with sand, (Port des Torrent), it is approximately 15-20 minutes walk, which in the heat, is a bit much. We did this for a couple of days but then stayed by the pool.rnrnThere are buses, taxis and a sea boat to get you into the centre of San Antonio.rnrnI note from other reports about there being alot of Germans. Whilst we were there we only saw about 2 German families. rnMost were English, although the evening entertainment did seem to go on a bit, as they went through the different languages.rnrnWe did have a really good time though.rnJeorge (thats how he spells it) the entertainer is nuts!!rnrnWe had a great holiday here, and the staff are really friendly.rn
