This is a great, basic, hotel.

Clean and comfortable rooms, late bar serving food all day, swimming pool and just a short stagger from the clubs and bars of the West end. The only draw back would be the absence of a lift if you're on the higher floors but this would be made up for with the view across the bay from your private balcony.

I was initially put off by the low cost of the accodomation. The amount I paid for my stay on a bed & breakfast basis had me expecting a great deal less!

Definately recommended for any age group (providing you can carry your case up a flight of stairs).

Would definately stay there again!

From the outside did not look very impressive but don't let that put you off. Rooms big and airconditioned, new mini plazma screen tv and ensuite bathroom. The breakfast continental pleasant enough. Nice staff and service, situated 4 mins walk from San Antonio west end. Good value for money!

We're a group of five 30-something guys and we loved Mitjorn. The staff are really friendly and incredibly helpful, the hotel is spotless and just a stone's throw from the harbour but without being too noisy. In fact it was noisiest during the day when we were trying to sleep - though fortunately it was just furniture scraping across floors rather than youngsters being rowdy. We really liked the decor - simple but stylish. And it's all great value. Definitely far better than where we stayed last year.

There are a couple of rooms per floor with a fantastic balcony & view of the harbour - request these if you can.

We had to pay a fair bit for nearby underground parking, but then we probably should have just used taxis instead.

Can't comment on the food, but the Mojito's were great and significantly cheaper than the beach-side bars!

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Mitjorn and we may well go there agin next year.

A real gem of a hotel. Staff and hotel are excellent and provide incredible value for money. Stayed here in Jun 2009 for my stag do with seven other guests. Rooms are great. Breakfast good and plentiful. You also get a nice view of the bay. If you are looking for somewhere cheap and cheerful in a quiet location right in the centre of San Antonio you can't go wrong. Thoroughly recommended.

This place was great! Close to everything and the staff was extremly helpful. I loved the morning breakfast it was perfect! The only bad thing is that the internet was horrible so don't expect to get anywhere with that. If you have your own labtop then your good so there is hope. I highly recommend this place and would definatly stay here again!

We had a brilliant stay at the mitjorn the location is excellent as every thing you need is close by and no more than 1o mins walk.
The hospitality was really good and staff are very friendly and helpful.
the rooms and pool area are very clean and have a excellent air conditioning system.It was a bonus that there was two computers for free use of internet available in the bar area.Dont be put off by the two star rating as this is the best accomadation ive stayed in on holiday.
We will definatley be returning to the mitjorn.

I loved staying @ the Mitjorn again this closing season. Tony and his family are very warm and hospitable. The rooms are clean, and extra special if you have a view of the bay. It's in the perfect location; you can get rowdy in San An if you want or relax somewhere along the sunset strip. Definitely staying next September!!

It recently stayed at the mitjorn for 4 nights. As a group of 4 girls all in Ibiza for the 1st time we couldn't have chosen somewhere better to stay. We arrived at a ridiculous hour (about 3am) and there was no messing about, checked us straight in without any probs.

The reception/bar is open 24hour...we had 2 rooms, one slightly better than the other because it had a balcony overlooking the port. Both rooms were cleaned every day, aircon worked fabulously and felt safe leaving all our stuff in the safety deposit boxes.
Free breakfast is served every day until 11am...wicked toasties to help cure a hangover!

If you want a mad lively hotel then this probably isn't the place for you, but if you want somewhere with a pool, guaranteed sunbed, and a bit of chilled house played all afternoon to get you in the mood for a night out then you can't go wrong staying at the mitjorn.

We all had a wicked holiday and would definitely stay here again!

Excellent accommodation, conveniently located yet away from the noise and the nonsense of the West End, although people walking up and down the echoey corridors could be a bit noisy depending on where your room is located. The staff are friendly and Tony especially is the man in the know whether you need info on a club night or directions to a particular beach. We'd definitely book again.

This is a great little hotel that I would definitely recommend. Staff are extremely helpful and friendly, food is good, this is the perfect place to chill out during the day.

Can't believe this is only classed as a hostel! Mitjorn certainly deserves more than it's 2 stars and is a lot nicer than some bonefide hotels we've stayed in! Although we would have liked a fridge, everything else about the room was to a high standard...particularly the lovely full length mirror that as 2 girls we definitely appreciated!! Nice large bathroom and plenty of wardrobe space, and the balcony was a good size although the view from our room wasn't up to much unfortunately.
Mitjorn is only a few minutes walk from the main strip in San An but you wouldn't know it as it's nice and quiet and there are no "drunken idiots" around to ruin the peace!
The pool and surrounding area was just right, there was always sun beds availiable - although parasols would be an added bonus for when the sun gets a bit too much!
Breakfast was well worth getting up for, and always served with a smile by the friendly waitress. In fact, all of the staff were great and made us feel very welcome.
Free 24 hour internet access is just another reason why we loved the Mitjorn and will definitely stay there again. It's highly reccommended.

The Mitjorn is in a great location, it is not too close to the West End so it's not too noisy and is reasonable walking distance from the beach bars. All in all I was more than happy with my stay at the Mitjorn and would recommend it to anyone that's looking for somewhere to get your head down and catch up on your sleep after hard daynight of partying!!

I Highly recommend this hostel . It got renovated in 2006 i think i read somewhere, and i went in September 2007 for 10 days and the rooms are really nice and tidy . We had no problems what so ever . The staff are totally amazing . Its situated at the bottom of the west end strip near the harbor . Its a 5 minute walk from the sun strip bars cafe mambo Cafe del mar . Rob

excellent budget accomodation, i would even say it has a very high standard compared to some of the package deal accomodation you could have gone to!!!I would recommend it to anyone looking to stay in the heart of activity yet still enabling a small amount of peace and quiet. If your lucky enough to get the front rooms the views of the harbour and san an are fab!!!

It was my 6th season in Ibiza, well in San Antonio, and I had discovered the best place to stay. Congratulations to all the staff, the clean of the rooms, the quiet place, abosule amazing. I had a great hoilday in ibiza. Ive been many times before but this was the best place ive stayed by far. The rooms are basic as are all the hotels ive stayed in in san an but this hotel was so stylish, but it wasnt expensive!!! Great value for money, great food, very clean and perfect location. 2min walk to the beach, the west end, all the shops and restaurants and very close to the sunset strip too. Also no loud idiots!!! Ideal for couples, or groups who like to party but who want somewhere quiet to sleep after a night out. Loved it, would definitly stay here again!

we stayed at this charming hotel for 2 weeks in july. the service we got from tony and the staff was the best, the food was really good, the rooms were very clean and trendy. there were even free internet! and the locatian is the heart of san antonio.rnwe had the best stay at mitjorn hotel, and if we come back next year, we wont stay anywhere else. thank you tony and hope to see you summer 2008. Fantastic! Mitjorn is a tremendous little place that provides you with a clean, tidy, comfortable place to stay in a brilliant location i.e. close enough to the suset bars and west end but far enough away to be quiet for those moments when you need a bit of peace and quiet! I have stayed here 4 times now and Toni and the team are extremely friendly and helpful. Don't be put off by the 2 stars - Mitjorn is a decent place to stay and tremendous value. My wife and I will be back next summer, hopefully!

Without a doubt the best place to stay in San Antonio... super modern rooms that put higher end hotels to shame. literally a 2 minute walk to sunset strip and bars of west end but slightly out the way to be quiet enough for a good nights sleep. I really enjoyed my stay at the Mitjorn, the staff are so friendly (toni is a funny and very helpful guy) the views from my balcony were amazing... im glad my friends recommended it to me... I loved it so much, ive booked to go back in 2 months! Massive thanks to Toni for hor making my stay so enjoyable.. Cant wait to get back.

Hostal Mitjorn is ideally situated within a short walk of San Antonio's "Sunset Strip" and is in the "West End". 50 metres from main bus stop to Ibiza Town and elsewhere. Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and air conditioned. Our room had an excellent view across San Antonio bay. Facilities were just as described - Pool area with sunbeds and seating, simple bar food - toasted sandwiches, pizzas, cooked breakfast - free internet access on PCs set up in bar. Expected it to be noisy in view of location but was pleasantly surprised! No complaints at all (except we had to come home!)

Mitjorn Hostal was an excellent place to stay. It looked like it had been recently renovated, was very clean & the rooms were really nice, better than what you would expect from a hostal. Definately try the food at the hostal -we ate their for every meal it was great! The staff are very friendly & helpful. The atmosphere is relaxed & eenjoyable if i ever make it back to ibiza i will definately stay here again.
