My wife and I stayed here for 1 week in August 2010. After the initial shock of how small our room was we settled in to enjoy our week at the Mediterraneo.
We viewed it as our base, there are no luxuries or incentives to stay any time in your room other than sleeping and using the bathroom. I would however point out that our room was cleaned every day, clean towels were always available, simply ask the housemaid for replacements, breakfast was ample, forget about your full Irish/English, it was simple and plentiful so stop whinning on about this!
The staff were great, Gabriella is simply a ray of sunshine and so so helpful, nothing annoys this lady and the guys on front desk are also very pleasant and helpful, this is were the hotel comes into its own. You will not get this sort of service in your multi-nationals.
Overall, we enjoyed our time at the Mediterraneo, even though we didnt stay in the hotel for any great length of time, because as I said we used it as our base and holidays are for being out and about, not sitting in your room watching TV all day.
Word of advice, get air-con, you will need it!

Prima hotel voor een goed verblijf.
Midden in het centrum en op steenworp afstand van de boulevard en het strand.
Het super gezellige restaurantstraatje is vlakbij, daar is het sávonds fantastisch met een ruime keuze aan een plekje om heerlijk te dineren.
Het enige minpuntje zijn de balkons van het hotel, deze zijn vrij klein, het personeel is ongelooflijk aardig en hulpvaardig.
Wij hebben een prima weekje gehad in Mediterraneo.

This hotel was great due to the fact that no one got up at the crack of dawn to save sunbeds. i hope it stays like that !! The staff were great especially the lady who serves breakfast and behind the bar who went out of her way to get my husband things not on the breakfast menu. We will come back again and we have never had a bad holiday booking through spotlight ibiza.
