Returned again since our last visit in 2007 and again had a fantastic week! One thing noted from our last visit was there was no air-con in the rooms. Well I was so happy to find this time that new air-con units have been installed in all the rooms. I was also pleased to see Sergio was still there and he remembered us from last year.
Teresa and John are still the perfect hosts, nothing is too much trouble and they are full of information if you are planning a day out.
The building was clean and freshly painted, new furniture around the pool – just perfect and the views are amazing over the whole bay.
I would thoroughly recommend Marina Playa for couples, families or a groups of friends for a relaxing holiday. We will defiantly be returning again next year!

fantastic holiday, great staff nothing to much trouble, atmosphere great, pool area always kept clean, wonderful view from balcony, yes of course i'm going back.

Fantastic. Location cannot be faulted with exceptional views across the whole bay (A sea view rooms is a must!). The huge pool area is great with sun loungers etc. The pool was a bit on the cold side rather opting for the sea which was warmer. Sergio the barman should be hired out to other bars to show how a barman should be - brilliant! Teresa is lovely, very caring and happy to help. I could not fault the apartments with anything except I do think the apartments should have aircon as it does get very hot at night. Other than that I would definatly return next year.

been to this hotel a few times,this time took friends who have never been abroad before, they never thought you could get such a good hotel for such a cheap price we were a party of 7 adults and 2 kids teresa juan and sergio couldnt do enough for us would recomend this hotel to anyone, had brill time ,we will be going next year but more of us this time

This place is amazing! It has a great atmosphere , relaxing or party they are up for both. Sergio has to be the best barman on the island. Me and my fiance have been going for the past 8 Years and this is by far the best place we have stayed. WE WILL BE BACK

Myself and my husband to be have been coming to Ibiza for a few years now and although we always stay in San An we don't always stay in the same apts,but after staying here last year we have booked again to come back here in Aug 07 for our honeymoon.The place itself is in an ideal location,just a short walk away from the centre of San An. The staff are fantastic,Teresa makes you feel at home with her welcome from the moment you arrive,her husband Juan is also lovely and there is the fantastic barman Sergio who not only is he the most entertaining barman on the island he makes the best cocktails!!rnI would highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a relaxing welcoming place to stay!I love it and if it is half as good as last year I will be back again.

Id only read a few reviews bout the Marina Playa aparthotel an they were mixed reviews but I was more than happy with my stay, no air con in rooms is only prob, u pay 22 euros for safety deposit box for a week too but better safe than sorry an between 2 or more its not much, usually in smaller hotels u have problems with showers or water but no the shower worked fine, spacious room, teresa on reception is originally from Wales an is lovely, Sergio the barman is 'awesome' as he wud say ha ha, pool is fine, pool area overlooks beach an onto San An centre so nice views, food at bar is basic but tasty, pizzas, burgers, baguettes, to be honest I have no complaints an am wantin 2 return to Ibiza in July 2007 an will definitely have the Marina Playa as my 1st choice if prices are ok, Im 24 an travelled with my 19 year old bro but Id recommend this place 2 anyone really, location wise its perfect too, u can see San An centre an its 15 mins walk from hotel on a path alongside the sea, if u turn left out of hotel u have cafes an bars an get get a good english fry up til 4pm, supermarlet shops are also to left an right of hotel, as is a cash point, I was thinkin Id have some problems with my stay but can happily say I was pleasantly surprised, basic hotel, but very good overall in my opinion.
