i stayed at the tagomago with a group of friends for my 40th birthday celebrations and considering this is a 2 star rated hotel i was extremely pleased . Rooms are cleaned daily by friendly staff the bar staff are fantastic and good fun .The pool is clean with enough sun loungers and seating to please anyone we spent most daytimes going between the beach which is on the doorstep to the lovely palm tree shaded poolside .We didnt eat at the hotel as wanted the freedom to roam but plentys of bars and restaurants close by as well as the jetty so you can ride the water taxi into san antonio town if you are just to relaxed to walk in and if not the promenade starts just down the street so you can walk in visiting bars all the way in .I had the best time at this hotel and look forward to returning

I would highly recommend the Tagomago as they have a 24hr reception! We arrived at the hotel at around 4am as we had really late flights and the guy on reception literally took our passports gave us our key and told us to go and get some sleep and pay when we woke which I thought was a nice touch. The rooms are great, although the bathroom was a little on the small side however they are spotlessly clean and do the job that they are meant for which is to get some sleep! We asked for a sea view and we did get that at no extra cost. I read a review about someone being on the noisy road which we were but to be honest once you closed the shutters and doors and turned the ceilng fan on it wasn't a big issue. The hotel staff are very nice and pleasant and go out of their way to help you when needed. The pool is great and there are plenty of sunbeds to use and Pepe the barman was on hand with drinks! There is wifi available but only in the reception area and a few people moaned about this but who wants to worry about social networking and email when you are on holiday in Ibiza? Isn't that what you go for to get away from it all?! The Westend, Eden, Es Paridis & Privilige are all a 20 min walk away or a 10 min taxi drive costing 5 euros. All in all I would recommend the Tagomago for the cost, cleanliness and friendly staff and the fact that it is situated near the Westend but also far enough away to enjoy a few quiet nights in! Already looking to book our stay there in 2012 ;)

The Tagomago Hotel is the perfect place for a brilliant stay in Ibiza.
It is just around the bay, which makes it quiet and peaceful, yet close enough to make it accessible by the half-hourly ferry to the West End, with all its nightlife.
The staff at the Tagomago were absolutely brilliant! From our friendly welcome in the early hours of the morning, to the sincere and fond farewell at the end of our stay, nothing was too much trouble.
Our room was clean and and the double bed extremely comfortable. We had a view from our balcony partly over the Bay.
Food in the bar was simple, but the prices were reasonable, and beer, cold drinks and coffees were also reasonably priced.
There are shops and restaurants just a hundred yards or so away, not forgetting the Crazy Golf Course, and the 'winky lady' who serves huge measures of whisky!
In conclusion, we can't praise the Tagomago Hotel highly enough. It ticked all of the boxes for a perfect stay. And we will definitely return to enjoy their hospitality in the future.

If you want a spacious room with that "Balearic" feel and modern facilities then Tagomago is the place to go.

Really great value for money, what's more you can grab a ferry from the San Remo jetty (5 mins walk) which takes you directly to West End, so you can essentially have the best of both worlds!

Many good restaurants close by and the staff are extremely helpful.

Would be good if the Wifi service was improved/extended to cover all the rooms though, as some days I had to buy internet from the San Remo wifi.

Hotel wasn't noisy at all and was still frequented by young people.

All in all for a worry-free stay in Ibiza I would recommend Tagomago anyday, especially if you're after a peace and quiet holiday, needless to say it's still close enough to San Antonio central for the nightlife!

Thanks Tagomago,

Stefan

Surprisingly peaceful at night considering the location of the Hotel. But Rest-assured that the Hotel staff & Night watchman will not tolerate any Rowdy rapscallions. The 'Tagomago' is just a Towels throw from the Beach & is One of the Oldest Hotels on the Island. It Certainly prompts an air of
(Film) Nostalgia as you look from the shore line.

A True Timeless Gem Unaffected by the demands of modernization.
But heed warning if you have Children as the lack of safety Glass is a Regular Concern as in most Hotels on the island.
If your slightly Unfit or Have someone with a disability then Check your Room location as the 'Tagomago' Hotel Has no Lift.
Initially we booked a Room for 3 Nights pending approval But Decided to stay for the Whole Duration of 18 Days.
Overall We had a Very Comfortable, pleasurable Stay even Without the presence of 'Air Conditioning' A Simple Tip can Help you Take advantage of the Ceiling Fan by sprinkling Ice cold Water on the Bed sheets.

Hotel Staff are Very efficient , friendly & always Helpful.
The 'Tagomago' is True Value for Money across the Board & We Look Forward to Booking again in the near Future.
