we found florencio hotel to be an average hotel for the money we paid. staff were very friendly and always helpful. rooms were average, the higher up you went the nicer the rooms were definately - so try and get a room on the higher level floors.

would go back again definately!!

see you next year!!

I only stayed 3 nights in september, i Paid 26 euro per night. this was £19! the pool area was nice and the room was fantastic for the price i paid. did not try food, beer was ok but with a supermarket 100 meters away this was not a problem. i expected a hostel to be very rowdy but it was quiet. could not have asked for more really.

I stayed at the Florencio in mid June 08 and I enjoyed my stay there. I had previously stayed there in 2001 and there has been a major renovation since then . All wooden floors , key cards for rooms and nice rooms . I stayed in a single room , which was quite small , but it was fine . Shower is a bit small but overall the room was fine . Got great value for money at the hotel so no complaints . 5 mins walk to the beach bars at Kanya , Sugarsea and Coastline , another 5 mins on the lovely new walkway to Cafe del Mar , Mambo and Savannah .Overall I'd recommend this hotel , obviously it's not a 5 star but at the price I paid , it was excellent value .

I really enjoyed my stay at the Florencio. I only stayed there for 1 week nut the room was tidyed as much as possible but it was really up to ourselves when beds didn't get made etc because we left the room in some mess sometimes! There was only one night where we were woken up by people shouting etc but to be honest it's really to be expected because it was the 1 night we decided not to go out and just went to bed early so noise is expected throughout the night in Ibiza! The staff are really nice and friendly aswell and were always up for listening to my own drunken banter! They were also very understanding because I did email asing for a room with a balcony but they didn't have one for the 1st night so we decided jus to keep the room without one but the staff did say to us 23 times that a balcony was available etc, so they do keep on top of their requests. All in all this is a nice little hostel that is really close to the main West End strip and only about 510 minute stroll to sunset strip so is very central so is definatly worth the small amount they ask for the room. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel if you are looking for a no-frills place to stay in a good location. Make sure you ask for a room on the top 2 floors as these seem to have been the ones reburbished key-card entry, own bathroom etc. Overally can't really fault anything about the place, although the pool area did look a bit dingy and the sunbeds were on a higher level, which defeated the objetc a bit. However, it was only 5 mins walk to KanyaCoastline where we tended to sunbath due the atmosphere and music. All in all, I'd stay here again for a few days if we were only staying for a short time but anything more than a week and you'd probably want somewhere nicer

The Florencio is a stones throw away from the West End Strip of San Antonio, basic facilities, room was clean, tidy and check in was a breeze, restuarant/bar was well manned, and a fair price, pool was freezing, but tons of sun loungers, not alot of "ravers", a real mix of travellers, from young to old - would use again!

I love this place! I have stayed here five times. The rooms are basic but clean. It has a great pool with a balcony terrace to sunbathe which is excellent for catching the rays. The bar is open late so you can always get a drink or a snack to eat. The restaurant is really good and the staff are very friendly. It is in a great location at the back of the west end so its not too noisy, 10 minute walk to coastline, cafe mambo etc so you can go and watch the sunset and a 10 minute walk to the egg and BarM etc. I would recommend this hotel for a cheap and cheerful stay.

Be careful when jumping off the terrace area into the pool, its not that deep, I nearly broke both my ankles. I am a lanky f......r though. Nice hostal/hotel, brilliant for the price. Have stayed twice before and will be booking this year.

I stayed here last week and can honestly say my stay was faultless. From the moment of my early 5am arrival I was greeted by friendly very helpful and informative staff. My room was extremely clean with towels, soaps, Sat TV and everything else you wouldnt expect from a lower end of the scale hotel. The food in the restuarant was spot on, and a nice touch having access to the internet downstairs throughout. The location is great the cafes, Del Mar, Savannahs etc are literally a 5 min walk, and the town the same in the other direction. In fact in comparison to my friends 4 star hotel round in the bay the only difference was they had a balcony. At one point they were suggesting to move to the Florencio! I highly recommend this hotel, certaintly more than value for your money!

It was a great surprise when i first entered the hotelroom of the hostal florencio! to be honest, i have never expected such a clean and renovated hostal for such a low rate - and don't forget, july is peak season. the hostal is situated absolutely central in san antonio, just a 5 minute walk from the major attractions and clubs. real nice and personal location and treatment. if you want an air condition you only have to pay 5 euro per day - so in total you have a rate of 35 euro for double occupancy. the only thing that makes me sick every morning was the english breakfast-not because its bad quality but its just disgusting to eat beans and black pudding in the morning-even to watch the dudes eating that! ;-)- so if you don't like perversions like this, book just accomodation and have breakfast somewhere else! thank you very much and personal best regards from germany to the whole team of hostal florencio.
