Hello,
We are a family with 3 children, 3, 7, and 10 years old and we spent just 2 weeks ago our best holiday ever for 10 days at villa Es Murtar. First of all I would like to mention what lovely, nice people the owners are. They are always willing to help you if they can. The first groceries they supply are enough for the first day and great help, because you are in no mood to do some shopping and busy enough with unpacking.
The villa itself was very clean and everything you have at home is present at the villa. We loved the BBQ, the nice swimpoolbeds, great working airco's, big kitchen, great jacuzzi (but not quite enough warm water to fill it up) etc.
The garden round the villa was very nice with the palmtrees, lemontrees, lovely flowers everywhere and even your own grapes. If you like to see some more of Ibiza, I recommend to rent a car and then the supermarket in San Jose is just 2 minutes away. Also the beaches on that side are within 10 minutes reachable by car.
We realy want to come again next year, we loved it!!!
Best regards,
Denny

We loved it. Tranquil and gorgeous. The whole time there, we heard only one really loud noise: some tiny frogs looking for love in an ornamental pond across the valley. En Espanol: Ranas! Who knew?
A great welcome from Bart and his family. Lovely food pack - particularly helpful with our late Sunday night arrival. Great Cava as well. The finca was exactly as described, which made it very easy to settle in. A home from home. The only way to improve it, particlarly for mature guests, would be to greatly increase the lighting in the bedrooms. And fill the potholes in the access road. Ouch.
The nearby town is very easy to reach (5 mins drive) with a supermarket, cafes, church and cashpoints. Beaches and the airport are ten minutes drive away and the capital another five. A lovely place in a lovely spot. Enjoy!

This is a beautiful villa in an amazing location (although trying to get a taxi to come and get you can be tricky!), incredibly peaceful and equipped with everything you could need for your holiday. The owner was lovely and very helpful and there is a lovely welcome pack of food and drink when you arrive as well as towels, books, games and even a juicer and sarongs. It sleeps 4 comfortably, and although one of the rooms is a bit on the dark side, it has an amazing bathroom with a jacuzzi.
I would definitely stay here again, I miss it already!

Glad you enjoyed your stay. With regard to the potholes, villa owners often leave a few in the track leading up to the house in order to discourage joyriders on quads looking for the cross-country shortcut.
