We really enjoyed our stay at the El Cortijo, the rooms were very comfortable, although after one week we did have to ask for our sheets to be changed. The towels were changed regularly andf the maids were very friendly.
The only downfall was that the manager of the bar downstairs kept telling the children to not splash in the pool or jump in!! Which really annoyed everybody as we were all on holiday!!! But I belive he was leaving, which is not a bad thing.
We would definitely go back and my children Jack (11) and Charlotte (8)really enjoyed it.
Es Cana is a really beautiful little town and very safe.
The Hippy Market every Wednesday is well worth a visit, and Ibiza town on a Saturday night is great fun, as all the local Transvestites are out.
We all love Es Cana.

This is the second time we have stayed at El Cortijo and really enjoyed it. The apartments are clean and modern and are well run with good maid service, very friendly staff, a well stocked mini market, good pub and nice pool area. It is central to all amenities, close to the beach and is in a relatively quiet area. We will definitely return.

We have just got back from a lovely stay in the El cortijo apartments, we were very impressed with the size and cleanliness they very spacious with a good working kitchen if needed microwave toaster kettle and iron and ironing board as standard.. it was very hot but you can hire a fan for the week for a few euros.We was there to visit our daughter in nearby hotel so never used the pool area but it was a nice clean pool with a few sunbeds around.. The Nags head bar underneath the apartments went out to the pool area had sky and internet if needed!! all in all I would recomend anyone to stay there very close to the beach bars etc...

El apartamento esta bastante bien. La cocina se nota que esta renovada y es agradable cocinar en ella. No es un apartamento lujoso pero la calidadprecio es muy aceptable. Adems la zona es muy tranquila, pero al mismo tiempo hay sitios donde salir y terrazas. Lo nico negativo es el bao del apartamento. Es muy antiguo y no esta renovado, as que, aunque esta limpio, no da muy buena impresin.

We went out to Ibiza in sept 2007 and we stayed at the El Cortijo Apartments and we very pleased with our stay, so much so that we will be booking to stay there again next year. There were 4 of us that went Myself, My 3 year old little girl, my mum and brother. We had a room that slept all of us, which included 1 double room and a twin room.we were placed on the second floor and received the room on the corner at the front of the apartments. This meant that we had a corner balcony which was fantastic. perfect for those earlyish nights back when the kids are tired and relax on the balcony with a wine just enjoying your time there. With regards to the apartment itself again it was great for the price we paid, good value for money, you have all the facilities you need i.e fridge, microwave, hob, kettle toaster etc, and it is a good size. it is your very basic room but it accommodates all your needs for your stay, out the back you have a pool which has a baby pool for your little ones and a decent size pool for the adults, obviously it isnt as big as the bigger hotels but you get what you pay for. The only downside to it is that the bar downstairs the nags head does have the horse racing on all day with the men in there cheering it on, not really a family bar. but so much to do in the resort of es cana. Al's bar is great for food and friendliness and kiddys. If you are after a great place to stay for cheap prices this is the place to stay. See you next year El Cortijo thanks

appartments were large, clean, and in a great location to explore es cana, friendly staff, and a british pub on site. Pool quite small but clean tidy, well worth staying for an inexpensive holiday

Its a great value place to stay in Ibiza, away from the crowded San Antonio. It is a nice hotel with big rooms. The only shame is that it doesn't have TV! But, who cares about tv in ibiza
