I arrived to meet up with my wife and children. She had booked me into a single room for ease. It was fab! Spacious, great spot, suntrap terrace. Will do it again.

No ground floor rooms but the 2 lifts always worked. Our 1st floor room had a large accessible bathroom and the bath only had one small horizontal grab rail in the middle of the bath; and no rail at the shower end of the bath. The loo can be accessed from the front or left hand side of a wheelchair; when seated, there is a grab rail on the wall to the left and an optional drop rail to the right. The floor tiles are textured but still a bit slippery. Some rearranging of the furniture would have to be done to access the balcony from a w/chair but the view was poor with no afternoon sun. We hired a noisy fridge and kept it in the bathroom! For safety reasons the buffet is not low level but the catering staff were most helpful; they even reserved a table of our choice! 8 years ago there was one slippery, steep ramp into the Caribe; now it is perfect: twice as long with a flat resting point in the middle. There are now 2 swimming pools, one with a chair hoist that you sit on and get lowered into the pool! The hotel is carpet free making it easy to wheel around. All staff were polite and helpful, making for an enjoyable stay.

Caribe was absolutely spotless, rooms were small and beds a little uncomfortable, entertainment was great for the children also. The food was as to be expected for a 3 star family hotel after all our holiday was mainly for my 3 children anyway. We would give it a 4/5 overall but if your looking for fine dining ................ eat out.

Took a twin room, with breakfast-
LOCATION: Es Cana, a quiet area, most occupants of the hotel were of older nature with a few young families, no party goers. The beach here is modest, but clean. ...Loads of restaurants however, we ate out every night, and good eating it was too.
Recommend a car - plenty of quiet spots to visit near by, to walk or lounge.
The room was on the third floor - and we found it to be clean, functional, and moderately comfortable.
En-suite provided a bath/shower toilet, sink and full wall mirror - fresh towels of two sizes provided daily - always clean and fluffy.
Rooms were cleaned every day except Thursday, where towels and bins were still changed.
Balcony provided was west facing with not the best views, but that's luck of the draw: and we did get the rooms on sale.
Breakfast -our only experience of the hotel food. Buffet style, help yourself setup, we found it got very busy towards the last twenty minutes of serving time, but quiet and leisurely before this... Full English provided, plus cereals, toast, croissants, doughnuts, yoghurt etc, and plenty of all. (We had seconds and thirds, and didn't bother with lunch) All was of fair to good quality ...Thus I really would recommend getting the breakfast as part of your deal, it's a bargain for little extra you pay.
Hotel has pool and entertainments included in your stay: the pool is of moderate size, but the area is well kept with plenty of loungers to go round
