We stayed in the Cala Gració late October and found the rooms surprisingly modern and tasteful. Everywhere was spotlessly clean, both in our hotel and the Tanit, where we went for food and drink. We also had a fridge, iron and ironing board in the room, plus a nice Sony flat screen TV (which we hardly used).
The October Spot-light price was very reasonable (the reception staff seemed surprised at the a
rate we got), and we booked for the location, rather than the non-optional all-inclusive deal. We weren't expecting too much of the all-inclusive, but the food and drink were excellent - plenty of choice, and all well presented and prepared. My only slight reservation was that tea and coffee during the day was in polystyrene cups (proper cups and saucers at breakfast).
The Cala Gració pool was little small - we could have used the Tanit pool (much larger), but it got a bit crowded. The Tanit seemed quite full (many people were transferred from other hotels that had closed early), and we never had too much trouble getting a table in the restaurant, but I think it would be more difficult in the height of the season as I can see that the restaurant and pool areas would struggle to cope, as would the evening entertainment area.
All in all, a very relaxing, worry free holiday which was just what we needed! Would certainly go there again.

We really enjoyed our stay in the newly refurbished hotel.
The room was of a good standard and the pool by the hotel very pleasant.
However the staff are the only staff in any hotel I've stayed in where you have to move out of the way from them. They were lazy to clear away dishes from your table at the buffet style restaurant. They could open a bottle of wine without leaving cork in it.
I would not recommend staying in the hotel for evening entertainment unless you had children.
