Buenavista is a lovely hotel - it is like stepping back in time, with loads of character. The rooms are prettily decorated,compact but with everything you need.The garden is absolutely beautiful - I would return for this alone.I loved this place- would rate it as one of my favourites,but don't come here if you want luxury, or lots of noise and constant activity.I hope this place stays exactly as it is - a haven of beauty and tranquility.

Lo mejor del hotel es la paz que se respira y el ambiente relajante que han logrado crear con detalles en cada rincón (plantas, música, pajarera, tumbonas, cenadores, silencio...). El jardín y la zona de relax de la piscina son un sueño para desconectar. El trato es muy familiar y el hotel muy acogedor y cuco.

We only stayed the one night at the Buenavista
and were really late arrivals (2am) - this was in late May 08. However we were made very welcome and our room, although small, was very clean and comfortable with a mosquito net over the bed, a good bathroom and an ample balcony with garden furniture and a view over the beautiful garden. Breakfast was served until 12 the next day which was good as we were so tired, and it was a really comprehensive continental style buffet. Again, we were made to feel very welcome by (we think) the owner.

We note that the hotel has some premium rooms in the garden which are individually furnished and we would imagine a great place to stay for longer periods than just one night, although they are about 30 euros more per night.
As far as we could see, the only down-side to the hotel was the huge amount of steep steps leading up to the front door. We are very fit
and nimble and even we were puffing after hauling our suitcases up and then down again the next morning! For this reason, I would not recommend it to anybody who is elderly, infirm or even for young children.

However, all said, I think the place had a wonderful charm and was so much nicer than all the other ugly concrete samey-samey hotels in the area. And just a short stroll from the town centre and beaches. We will definitely stay again if in Santa Eulalia.

Buenavista is a traditional hotel with a lovely tranquil garden. Whilst the room was clean, had a sea view and included all necessary facilities the noise from the road spoiled the tranquility. I would definately stay at the Buenivista again but would ask for a room at the back away from some of the noise of the road.

the buenavista hostal is a gem everything was perfect for a peaceful break and the staff and family could not do enough for us,the food in adjoining restuarant was first class,my wife and i will certainly be returningin the near future once again many thanks to the mari family

A lovely hotel a stroll from the centre of town. The bedroom and bathroom were far better than I anticipated.I would definately recommend the hotel and hope to return in the future.My only criticism would be the breakfast which was a little limited.

i really enjoyed my 10 day stay at this delightful hotel.The rooms are small but functional, and are cleaned every day inc.sunday which is rare.The outside area really makes this hotel shine,the pool and garden area are superb and really relaxing,there are shaded areas for those who are not dedicated sun worshipers!.We ate ate in the restaurant around four times,each meal was superb and i found a good choice being a vegetarian my partner recommends the fish kebabs!.I am planning to visit this hotel, but be warned this is not a package hotel ,but it is a individual hotel with lots of character.

Great place to stay, everything worked, rooms were clean and airy and staff very friendly and helpful. Very quiet and perfect for couples wanting to escape hussle and bussle. fantastic restaurant and pool area, very private and perfect for relaxing the day away. Food was so good that we ate there every night of our stay....seemed silly to search for another place when it was so good. Can't recommend this place enough and for the price it was unbelievable value. Would definitely go back. One tiny thing is the location which might be difficult for older visitors as it is on a hill and very steep steps to get there. Also just off a busy main road so rooms at the back are much preferable also.

IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A PACKAGE HOLIDAY HOTEL THEN DONT STAY HERE HOWEVER IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR SOMETHING SLIGHTLY QUIRKY AND LAID BACK THEN THIS IS FOR YOU .ROOMS ARE SMALL BUT VERY CLEAN AND THE BED WAS COMFORTABLE ,WHAT REALLY MAKES THIS HOTEL SHINE IS ITS OUTSIDE AREA,THE POOL AREA IS COMPLETELYrnCHILLED AND THE GARDENS ARE BEAUTIFUL OVERALL A DELIGHTFUL rnLITTLE FIND

The best hotel on the island for relaxation and peace. Beautiful surroundings, good food and lovely family running the hotel - perfect. Can't wait to get back.

What a treasure. This hostel is the perfect place to stay. The family are very welcoming and the hospitality great. The rooms are spotlessly clean and the gardens and pool area are amazing. Great location, great food and great price. Are already looking for flights to book again.

We had an excellent 4 days in this small hotel.
We were offered a choice of rooms and took the one which had wonderful views of the bay.
The food in the restaurant so good we didnt eat anywhere and dined outside in the garden each night.
We were well looked afer by the family who owned the hotel and will certainly go back again
