the hotel bellemar was a very nice place to stay in ibiza. the location was perfect (especially for the fireworks.) great place for a young crowd. close enough to the clubs and bars of san antonio but far enough away to just relax when you want. the hotel is beautiful and well kept and the staff is extremely helpful with everything. if you dont know how to find something (be it parasailing, atv/scooter rental) just ask the staff and they will find if for you. the beach is right across the street and es paridis and eden are a short walk down the bay. i hope everyone else enjoys this hotel as much as i did. if im ever back in ibiza i know i will be staying at the hotel bellemar.

Room was sufficient, as spent most of the time at beach or in clubs. Very convenient for beach and not too far from bars, clubs, shops and restaurants.
Room was cleaned every day, but not very thoroughly - could have done with some vacuuming.
Even though it was included, we never had a chance to have breakfast.
Staff were very friendly, always willing to assist and at all times of the day.

It's great to be in Spain as it's clean, airconditioned, spatious and a good pool area. There's also free wifi in reception (but still no internet in the rooms).

My daughter & I stayed at the Bellamar for 4 nights. My daughter has to use a wheelchair sometimes. We found the hotel very wheelchair friendly, there were ramps to get into the restaurant and outside the hotel.rnThe doors were wide enough to get into the room and there was enough space inside to move around.rnThe staff were very friendly and helpful, and the food was plenty even for a fussy eater like my daughter, the only thing that I thought could have been better were the lifts, they were a bit on the small side, you could get the wheelchair and the two of us in but not much else, but there was two lifts side by side so it was not a problem.rnThe shops in San Antonio were also wheelchair friendly, most of them had ramps to get the chair into;some also offered help to get my daughter in,we found the pepole very friendly.rnThe bay area is lovely to walk along and the beach has wooden ramps to get the chair on to the beach.rnThe only thing I found difficult was the curbs, one side was lowered the other side not.But we were told that they were being done this winter.rnWe both said we would like to go back there. We would stay in the Bellamar.rnI would recomend other people with or without wheelchairs to go there as it's a loverly place to stay.

I travelled here with a Friend for 11 nights and we couldnt fault the hotel. The picture's you see dont do it justice, The food was fantastic & its very clean. All the staff here are really friendly and the hotel is ideally located - Right inbetween the bay and the town (also not far from Eden & es paradise!) I would definatly reccomend this hotel to anyone wanting a great holiday!

I had set my sights pretty low before arriving but was very pleasantly surprised.rnrnStaff very friendly, food fantastic as were the facilities.rnrnTIP - If you have an early check out and a late flight, book an afternoon at the spa in the basement.

I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone planning on staying in San Antonio Bay. The location is excellent, about 15 min walk from the main nightlife in San Antonio but far enough away not to be disturbed by the noise. The hotel restaurant offered a wide selection of foods, the evening meal was particularly good. The only negative comment I have about the Bellamar is that compared to other near by hotels it did not provide any entertainment in the evenings. The hotel bar was a bit too quite for my liking they didnt even appear to play any music. Overall though it was well worth spending the extra money to stay at the Bellamar.

Although this hotel has several excellent points, it was let down on others, and in my opinion doesn't deserve a 4 -5* rating.rnrn1) There were a few days when we were at the hotel and there were showers outside. We decided to try the Spa - Until we realised it was 15 euros, for 2 hours!!!rnrnThis was a massive shock, I have stayed around the world, and have never been expected to pay extra for such facilities.rnrn2) Breakfast 8 - 10am - I found the breakfast times unacomodating of those who like to lie in on Holiday. The one morning I did get up for breakfast I wasn't impressive. There was no fresh fruit, only natural yoghurt. Being on a gluten free diet I am restricted, and limited, on the cooked hotplate there were no hash browns or sauteed potatoes so I was left with simply Egg and Bacon.rnrn3) Pay for the safety deposit box. 2 euros a day, seems silly when you pay over £100 a night, why can't it simply be included in the bill!rnrn4) Security - We came back very late on an evening on several occassions, the 1st, The night porter was asleep, we simply walked past him through the open front door.rnrnThe second night he never even asked to see our room key!rnrnOn a positive note, the view from our sea view room was very good, other than that a disappointment overall, wouldn't stay again. Doesn't in my opinion offer value for money.

I have been to Ibiza 5 times and this is definately the best hotel I have stayed in . The rooms are lovely and are cleaned everyday. The food is very good with a large choice. Great location in the Bay. Beach is just across the Road. I would request a sea view room though as We had a room overlooking the side of the Hotel which gets no sun. Overall Excellent Hotel.

it's quiet a lovely warm place to be ,good hospitality ,great view, but as for the location you'll have to walk quiet a distance in order to catch a bus goin down to ibza town or even to get near the real san antonio ,it's more like a resort than a hotel however there's this restaurant right beside also a cozy supermarket where u can buy great souvenirs,it was a good experience allover

I can't begin to stress how wonderful an experiance staying at the Bellamar truly was. We paid for a Sea View/Pool View room and would suggest that anyone who wishes to stay here would request this as the views from the hotel were exceptional. Just far enough from San Antonio town for those wishing a quieter stay but only a 20 minute walk for those wishing the opposite this hotel could not be better located. It is only a 3 minute walk to the beach which is serviced with all manner of activities. We stayed Half Board and found the food to be of good quality with anything you could possibly wish for on their breakfast menu. Free Sunbeds, Parasols however make sure you are up early enough to get these!. Staff were friendly and helpful and our room was ready upon arrival in the event we woke up late our room was still cleaned later in the day which was lovely. If you are going to stay anywhere in the Bay it has to be at the Bellamar. We were very upset to be leaving and will certainly be booking for the same time next year!

We stayed at this hotel for one week. The first part of the week was fab then a family with noisy children arrived and bang went the peace and quiet around the pool. However, we had heard this is the last year which children are welcome at this hotel. The staff were all very friendly and helpful (all apart from the little man who asked everyone for their room numbers when entering the restaurant in the evening - he was just a nobody that tried to look important). The rooms were extremely clean and the maid came every day. I am fussy about the hotels i stay in but i would recommend this one. The food were pretty basic and quite a lot of the food was duplicated but you don't always have to eat there, there are alternative restaurants around the bay - although not many. We enjoyed our lunches in the cafe / restaurant just across the main road when leaving the Bellamar Hotel, the staff there were more than friendly. I would definately recommend the hotel although i wouldn't totally recommend ibiza. I'm in to more fun music and ibiza ain't the place to find it. If you like the repeat of bang bang bang all the time and into taking drugs, then Ibiza could be your choice of holiday, but other than that i would recommend Majorca (Palma Nova or Magaluf). Touts in Ibiza do eventually get on your nerves, you do really have to be impolite to make them understand you don't always want to go in their choice of pub. Hotel is fab though.

Me and my partner went to Ibiza Sept for 11 nights. We choose Bellamer after reading the great reviews about it! We went out there for the clubs but wanted to stay in a quietish hotel to relax. When we first arrived at the hotel it was a little smaller then expected but I think the picture made it look bigger. We checked into our room which hadn't been cleaned but the friendly staff quickly sorted the room out. Another small point there is no entertainment in the evening which we werent to bothered about as we were out on the town most nights but would have been nice maybe a couple of times a week. Heading back to Ibiza again this year in September again with some friends and we didnt want to stay anywhere else apart from the bellamer. The pool was also freezing as the sun doesnt shine on the pool until the afternoon. Great Hotel, Friendly staff. I would recommend for people who want to have a nice quiet hotel to relax!rnCant wait til september now!

Overall the hotel was sweet, very cool staff and the location's pretty good too. I didn't make it to breakfast during my stay but all I can say is that the evening meal smelled pretty good and the restaurant was always full, so the food must be half-decent!
My two main gripes were: no tea / coffee making facilities in the rooms (even Ibis has them!!) and we couldn't get a late checkout, sorely needed as we had a late flight back home in the evening. There is a free luggage store and shower facilities available if you can't get a late checkout and they didn't mind us crashing on the sofa in the bar!
Other than that it was fine, 4 stars for the money, you can't go wrong.

On my last trip to Ibiza, I envied my friends who were staying at the Bellamar, but this time, I stayed there, too. I was not disappointed. The room was very clean and comfortable, as was the bathroom. We asked for a high room and got it - good view over the bay. Breakfast was very good - hot and cold choices and very attentive staff. Reception personnel were efficient and friendly. The poolside bar was a dream -the best gin and tonics I've had for some time! Good size, clean pool (bit chilly!!) and plenty of loungers. I would definitely stay there again and would have no hesitation in recommending it to friends.

The Bellamar is a top quality hotel. Quiet rooms with all you need for a good holiday. The location is excellent as it is close to the beach and in walking distance from the main nightlife (too far to hear it!!). This is the first hotel I have ever considered going back to, as the quality is far in excess of anywhere I have stayed abroad. The food in the hotel is also of a very high standard. Anyone staying should also go to Ray & Mays pub next door, as they are a really nice couple who make fantastic cheap cocktails. We are very pleased customers who had a fantastic holiday.
