The hotel has perfect location, food in the restaurant was excellent, good quality and selection of different kinds of food.
Cleanliness of the hotel was also good. Aircondition in the room, high floor and sea view are must, which we got incl. in the price, but as we have heard from other clients, they had to pay for it.

The only thing what we have missed at the hotel was at least a small fridge in the room and in some parts it woudl need small renovations (ex. warderobes, doors to balcony).
Otherwise all was ok.

I first discovered this gem of a hotel two years ago and was very impressed by the standard, location and service. I was keen to stay there this year, and was very pleased that it was available through spotlight (having tried tour operators who could not offer it, so spotlight definitely has the edge). This hotel is full of character, has really fantastic staff and the rooms are large and comfortable. OK it's not a designer hotel but for its rating, it has a lovely Spanish/Moorish feel with a huge reception and lounge, and the sense of space adds to the holiday atmosphere. Its location is superb. I looked at lots of resorts on the web but, even though my partner and I are in our 40s, I absolutely love the centrality of St Antonio Bay and its proximity to the sunset terrace (which has grown in two years!)and the music bars slong the promenade. There is an adequate beach right in front and all facilities are very convenient. There is a bus station about 5 minutes walk away from where you can get a bus to just about anywhere on the island. We were given a balcony room with a bay view as requested, and it was very comfortable with air conditioning. The cleaners were lovely, and changed our towels every day. There was really very little noise too, even in the middle of August. Maybe we picked a good week, but there were mainly families and couples, then we noticed it get busier with groups of young people as we were leaving. I love this place, and will be back as soon as I can.

Great place to stay and you will not be disappointed with the money you've spend there. We had a great time and staff was very friendly and accommodating as you would not expect from a 3-star hotel. Awesome location and great amenities, take the sea-view room and you will fall in love with all local sunsets.

This was the second time I'd stayed at this hotel, both on stag do's. Good traditional hotel, not full of 18-30's scum just us on a stag do - however I think we entertained in our team high cut freedom shorts. The parrot show on the Sunday night received rave reviews, however I was safely tucked up in bed back home by then. Reccommend the nameless orange alcholic drink that we had during the afternoon on the Saturday, lovely drop.Best Man

We stayed in Arenal Hotel for one week end of August and had a great time. The location is perfect, right outside the beach and only a few mins walk from the nite life so no taxi's needed. We felt very safe aswell, we were two girls on our own so this was perfect. rnwe went half board and the food was excellent. breakfast had good selection of hot or cold food, horrible orange juice tho ! and the dinners were fine. the salad was the best bit. hot food was ok but we mostly filled up on the salad, pasta and chips which was enuf. rnair con was 6 euros a day but not worth it could hardly feel it ! we didnt use the pool as the beach was rite outside. most of the staff were friendly, apart from one who works in bar !! rnthe nite entertainment was ok to watch before you go out, good for families who stay around the hotel at nites. rnrooms were very basic. no fridge tho to keep water or anything which is bad. cleaner makes the beds everyday but only folds the towels doesnt always change them even tho ours had blood on for two days!! room kept clean tho apart from that. rnall in all happy and would def go back again as the location is spot on. 5 out of 5.

Arenal Hotel fantastic for location only draw back would be getting the front of the hotel next to the road as apposed to the Sea View .. Sadly we got the road side & it was a bitty noisey (unless you're out till the wee small hours when it starts to quieten down) .. Apart from that we loved this place so much that we've booked to return to it for another week in May 2008

overall a most enjoyable experience.the only disappointment was the lack of childrens entertainment and as we travelled with two small children they were quite disappinted. the whole place was very clean and the food was all you would expect from a 3* hotel.rni would never discourage anyone from booking at this hotel.

This hotel is situated in a perfect location just a short distance from the centre of town. The rooms were clean and the the service was spot on. i came here early july with 5 mates and had the best week of my life. there was a large selection of food to choose from which was all good. there are 2 bars in the hotel that serve right into the early hours of the morning. this is a first-class hotel which doesn't cost alot, which is why id recommend it to anyone. only problem is that i didn't stay long enough which is why im going back next year for even longer!

I got back from staying at the 'Arenal hotel' on the 15th july 2007. One of my best holidays. Such a great experience. The hotel was full of friendly staff, the room were very clean and the food was lovely. Before going away to ibiza I had heard alot of bad things about the Arenal and I was worried. But as I got there these things I was hearing were completly the opposite from what I got from the hotel. I heard the food was horrid and there wasnt a good selection. I went half board and thought the food was delicious. There was a huge selection. The foods went from the normal chicken nuggerts and chips, to piella and sword fish. rnI was amazed that the hotel was in the middle of everything in the bay! we were 2minutes from eden and es paradis. In the day we would just lay by the pool, there is a little restaurant that made fresh sandwiches and other lunchtime snacks. I defo recommend having a 'black russian' at the hotel bar. I went with 17 of my friends and we all were so suprised with the amount of alcohol the bar staff put in the drinks.....was amazing :)! rnOverall the hotel was deffantly valus for money and I would give the hotel 10/10.rnCant wait to go back next year.

I have just got back home from a fab week in ibiza with my boyfriend. (Were both 18) we stayed at the arenal hotel and it was fab. The staff are all very friendly, the rooms are big and spacious with enough room in the bathroom for two of you to get ready at the same time. The hotel is in a really good location walk through the back doors and youre right on the beach, next door theres a burger king, kfc and a pizza hut and then a load of bars including bar M. Its about a 3/4 minute walk from es paradis and eden but far enough not too hear loads of noise at night. Its a 5 minute journey in a taxi to cafe del mar where u can sit and watch the sunset and they have fire eaters and dancers on the beach. Its worth going to see that, although watching it from the hotel is good aswell. Both sunrise and sunset are lovely to watch so you got to see both. The nightclubs dont open till 12 and shut around 6, its worth going to the agua water party at es paradis dj sammy was there when we went es paradis is the prettiest club ive ever been to its all white inside with fairy lights n things and then the water shoots out of the walls n turns into a big swiming pool although you have to wait till around 5 in the morning for that-theres loads of places to sit down inside though if you do get tired.. Food in the hotel was really good only missed one breakfast after getting in from es paradis at half 6, had a cooked breakfast every day but theres loads of other choices too. Evening meals had a lot of choice also and im a fussy eater there was still a lot for me they also did things like roast duck, veel, cows liver and hake which my boyfriend tried and said was lovely. Only disappointment was dessert however a couple of nights they had french chefs doing crepes which were nice. Also, went on a trip called summa daze which held a massive foam party was really good. All in all couldnt have asked for a better hotel, had an amazing time would definatley stay there again and would recommend it to anyone-especially younger groups of friends or couples.rn

This was our first holiday to Ibiza. We stayed at the Arenal hotel and was a little worried after reading the reviews. On arrival we found the hotel to be lovely.Location was great, rooms were spacious and kept spotless and the food good.Only bad thing I can really say is the hotel entertainment was a liitle poor, mostly catering for the elderly and children,we never stayed to watch.Only a ten minute walk to San Antonio town with ample bars but shop around,we went in Hush bar and payed 10 euro for a bayleys and a coke.Look for a bar called Mr Toffs drinks are buy one get one free.If you are fortunate to get a sea view then the sunsets here are beautiful. We also had a boat trip which was worth the money and some really lovely views.Would highly recommend this hotel well worth every penny.

Me and three other girls stayed in the hotel and was quite weary after reading some of the reviews. We were delighted by the hotel - the rooms were clean and spacious, the food was brilliant for the money and the sea view was amazing to wake up to every morning. The only thing that let the hotel down was the restaurant staff who were rude but the reception staff were absolutely lovely. Were going back next year cant wait.

Hotel seemed very nice, although we moved the next morning to the Ses Savines Apartments as I had requested a Sea View and they couldn't accomodate that with the business in the Arenal.

The SeS Savines was very nice. The Staff were friendly and helpful and the restuarant/snack bar was good.the room was also good except for the leaking air con. machine, which dripping into a bucket at night noise can get a bit annoying.
Can't really say much about the breakfast as we only managed to get up once in time. We were quite late then and the fresh fruit that I was interseted in had run out. It was good that they had a fresh juice machine/juicer to get fresh made juice with though.

A comfortable hotel ideally located for all the action in San Antonio but far enough away not to be too noisy. Pools and facilities were good and all the staff were very helpful. We'll definately be going back.
