Apartments & Studios by the beach in a lively resort

Families

Everyone just loves coming to the Playa Bella Apartment complex. Set in the heart of friendly San Antonio Bay, where entertainment is aimed at all age groups, these value for money apartments are right in front of the palm fringed beach.

Pools

With free loungers, lots of sunbathing space and cooling sea breezes, the large ‘three ring’ pool is the popular numero uno place at the Playa Bella. Kids can splash about in their own section, or have even more fun in the enclosed & supervised ‘bouncy’ area.

Apartments

The Playa Bella Complex has studios for up to 2 adults and a child, or one bedroom apartments sleeping up to 3 adults and a child. All of them recently refurbished, they now have all the modern facilities - air conditioning (mid June to mid September), telephone, and a kitchenette with a fridge, toaster, microwave and kettle.

Views

All have a private balcony, most with lovely views across the bay to the pine clad hills which back San Antonio. As you would  expect, the apartments are cleaned and towels changed three times a week, with twice weekly bed linen changes.

Activities

With golden sand, gentle shallow waters and a good choice of water sports activities, it’s ideal for both parents and kids. Only metres away there are shops, bars and eateries – for late British breakfasts, light lunches or an appetising evening meal.

Drinks

All throughout the day the friendly bar staff provide a cool drinks and snacks service to the pool terrace for thirsty customers.

Food

With two restaurants in the complex you won’t have to travel far to eat before the nightly entertainment programme begins. So grab a seat outdoors by the beach, ask the waiter for a beer or a nice cool mix and relax to the live music, singing, dancing, and competitions.

Fun

There’s always a friendly, fun atmosphere at the Playa Bella Complex – that’s why so many families or groups of friends make it their holiday choice and return year after year.

Fantastic

The Playa Bella is an ideal place from which to start exploring the island, the 24-hour reception staff are only too happy to reserve organised tours, or you can easily go it alone. There is a good bus service and water taxis leave from nearby jetty to the beautiful beaches on the west coast and to San Antonio itself where a wider choice of shops, markets and restaurants can be found. And, of course, for night owls, San Antonio has it’s famous discos and dozens of lively bars which are open until dawn.

The staff were extremely helpful and the apartment were reasonably large and very clean. The swimming pool was great and huge choicee of pubs or restaurants. Fantastic location for kids - lots to do on evenings. Lots of larger bars have bouncy castles, slides etc and you just pay 5 euros and the kids can play all night. On the downside the apartments are very noisy at night. You can hear the people above walking around above you and the people below!!! Dustbins carts comes down the road at about 3.00am and it sounds like there's a train in the room with you!!! which is a shame, beacuse this is the only negative thing we have to say. Once you get used to it you can just about manage to sleep through. I would go back again and my 4 children definately want to go back again. The best thing were the extremely helpful staff, nothing was too much trouble and they really went out of their way to help us when our youngest daughter got ill. They found the spanish names for mediaction for me, let us have fans free of charge to keep her cool and even called ...

The room was a good size for two people, clean and well equipped.
Balcony was a bonus.
Huge disappointment over no double bed situation.
Pool was clean and plenty of sunbeds.
On the beach but not a nice place to bathe, smelt like sewage.
Other beaches must be reached by car.
In an area with plenty of restaurants and not too busy or noisy at night.
Boat bus is cheap but not reliable if in a hurry, leave plenty of time.
San Antonio a 45minute walk away, is doable, and pleasant around sunset.
