Cream Ibiza Announce 2012 Dates

Amnesia's Thursday nights are sorted then!

Back for another year, Cream have announced the opening and closing dates for their Summer 2012 residency at Amnesia, going a long way to further cementing their reputation as one of the most respected players on the scene in Ibiza.

Opening - Thursday 14th June

Closing - Thursday 20th September

...and every Thursday in between.

Further details are yet to be revealved with regard to lineups, but if last year is anything to go by you can expect many of the big hitters on the house, electro and trance DJ's. Last years regulars were Above & Beyond, Paul Van Dyk, Eddie Halliwell, Cavin Harris and Laidback Luke... witht he support of other headline artists in their own right.

Here's hoping 2012 will be even bigger and better...

Thanks Ikoda. I normally spend 25% of the time not on the dancefloor, so a place to chillout would be good. I'll pay the extra. It's just a pain my Mrs is there as it's everything x 2 :lol:

Depends if you like to spend an entire night on the dancefloor, or be able to chill out for a little bit. There is very little seating in Cream (annoyingly).

You mean Balcony tickets?

They are not VIP if you have to pay for them. ;)

He only did Be at Space last year but some of those were live Northern Lights shows.

The lineups are always very similar each year with the odd change here and there but it's always worked in the past so why change it....

I think ASOT will have snapped up a lot of the DJs such as Tyas, Arty, TyDi, Bolier, Cosmic Gate etc.

Either way it's looking like a decent year for the Trance fans...with Ferry still rumoured to be having Full on Ferry somewhere, there's plenty to chose from.

No Ferry C, and he was at a fair few of the nights last year.
Seems PvD and A&B have alot more nights this year. I guess these names sell far more than Tyas, Schossow et Al

I agree. And from a personal point-of-view I'm slightly disappointed that the line up for the week I'm there is 2 DJs I saw in Ibiza last year. Haven't seen PvD or SvD in ages and they are on the week after. That's pot luck in a sense. And will still be going for sure.

It's interesting though. Why don't they mix it up a bit more? With PvD or A&B headlining and Laidback Luke and Calvin Harris there it's gonna be packed to the rafters anyway. Why not a Marcus Schossow, a Marco V, a Sean Tyas, an Arty or a Daniel Kandi. Mat Zo and Ben Gold are on there I suppose, but beyond that it's the same old DJs.
