Your name will be featured on all marketing material including flyers, posters, Ibiza Spotlight and pretty much everyone else who publishes Ibiza listings.
The winner will also receive 2 nights accommodation at Jet Apartments for 2 nights on Wednesday 5th and 6th September taken care of by Ibiza Spotlight.
Flights are at your own expense
How to Enter:
You must be a Spotlight forum member to enter.
1. To become a member, go ahead and register here
2. Upload a 45 minute set to soundcloud or mixcloud and post the link as a reply on our forums to this thread here.
The competition closes on Tuesday 31st July.
Only one post per dj will be accepted. This can be either a link to soundcloud or mixcloud.
DJ's who post multiple posts and entries will be immediately disqualified.
You need to play on CDJ's (or vinyl). DVS will not be possible. Space Ibiza has CDJ2000s. You can produce the mix on whatever you like (DVS), but you must be completely competent on CDJs or Technics on the night.
As it is a warm up set, be mindful of the big names that will be playing after you. Take a look at the season line-ups for BE so you can see what type of music is played and which direction you should be going in. Playing trance or banging it out before a headliner will not be doing you any favours.
The Judging Panel
The Spotlight team will be judging the mixes, choosing the best 3 and sending them to space for final approval.
We are also going to open another thread for comments about the sets from other members, which we shall take into consideration.
i think you'll agree this is an amazing opportunity to play at one of the most important clubs in the whole history of EDM.
if you have any questions please post them here.
