Wednesday nights in Ibiza are set to become a serious contender for best party night of the week, thanks in no small part to Kehakuma.
You've already had a snifter at what Kehakuma has in store for you when it was selected as Best New Night for 2010, but there really is so much to talk about.
First off, the Opening Party on June 2nd is particularly tasty for those who love and respect the quality of their music with Francois K, Steve Bug, Martinez and live efforts from Secret Cinema, Egbert and Glimpse.
That really is just a snack size starter though as in the following weeks, all the a la mode DJs and producers of the underground scene, with a notable German influence, whether that be the Mannheim crew in the form of Nick Curly, Ray Okpara and Johnny D, Frankfurt's Booka Shade, Stuttgart's Tiefschwarz or Berlin residents and regulars like Seth Troxler, Radio Slave and Ellen Allien.
In many ways, the line-ups are a 'Who's Who?' of the artists that have proven themselves as the pick of the underground over the last 5 years, although that interestingly means many of them have had fairly little exposure in Ibiza. Resident Nick Curly only played in Ibiza for the first time last year, but made such an impression that he is back almost weekly this season.
Elsewhere the names just reel off the tongue and the dance floor beckons.....Dennis Ferrer, Jamie Jones, Guy Gerber, Matthew Dear, Martin Buttrich and 2000 and One, all headliners in their own right pretty much, but just one of many appearing here.
Serious party people action to be had here!

icey - yes it's paid advertising. what happened is chief spotlight rang up 'Days of the Week HQ' and asked for wednesday and said "wednesdays are a really strong night in ibiza"..........fancy advertising with us.
to which wednesday replied, "but what about tuesday and thursday, i don't wanna be near them if they're advertising too"
;)
maybe read it before you come with the sarky comments.
kehakuma, subliminal, warung, la troya, channel zoo and even reclaim and clubland...
i'd say that was good enough for claim as being one of the strongest days of the week to party.
Though, love to know what it is like, and how it's doing up against Warung!
