Ibiza 2010 Clubbing Preview - Part 1

We've hardly swept the sweat of 2009's season from our collective brows and we're already thinking about Ibiza 2010. Here's the low-down so far....

First things first, we all know that the big guns will be back when Ibiza 2010's season starts again in about 6 months, but we also know there will be some moves, shakes and twists along the way. This is like clubbing's version of the football transfer window, with deals and rumours getting increasingly more tasty as we get closer to June.

So what do we know for sure. Well, unsurprisingly, Cocoon have already confirmed that they will be back in 2010, ambivalently describing the coming season as "the year we make contact". Whatever that actually means, you can bet Sven (Vath, pictured right) and Ricardo will be gurning to the dance gods and it'll be Monday night roadblock time for Cocoon Ibiza 2010 Edition.

The rapid selling Ibiza Rocks goes from strength to strength after its first full season at new home, Ibiza Rocks Hotel. Ibiza Rocks 2010 returns every Tuesday from 8th June until September 15th, expect the usual fresh booking policy and more "rock not dance" style slogan-making! Another confirmation is Wonderland at Eden, with Tongy getting in early with opening and closing dates (25th June and 1st October respectively) and promising yet more changes, "an updated Martin Audio Sound System, a new, much larger VIP terrace, a piano terrace, a redesigned entrance, back room and fresh decor". Wowser!

Of course we already know about the demise of El Divino, with Pacha having secured the lease and current gossip split between them using it as an alternative music venue or a swanky new restaurant.
