Sands, Ibiza

Sands arrived in 2009 taking the beach shack opposite Space that was formerly Ushuaia in 2008. Part owned by Jason Bull of Es Vive Hotel and Base Bar fame, this has become a definite place to have your face seen and don't be surprised if you find yourself eating your lunch next to Carl Cox, who became part-owner in 2011.

Coxy himself does legendary free parties here once a season, playing a total history of his musical influences, and Circo Loco held an official afterparty here as well. 2011 has seen the parties toned down a bit as the venue concentrates on the delicious food and sushi it specialises in.
