Boho, Ibiza

Ibiza's latest club, formerly known as Extasis

BOHO HAS BEEN CLOSED SINCE SEPTEMBER 2009

Overview

One of the Ibiza clubs that goes way back, Extasis has been like a depilated stately home of clubbing for over 10 years now; it was devoid of any identity, with no parties worth even a glance let alone a second look and mainly it was in dire need of some investment. Then along came Jason Bull (Base Bar & Es Vive) along with party organiser extraordinaire Tony Truman (Linekers Ibiza) to team up with some of the most forward-thinking and relevant promotions to provide Ibiza’s clubbers with the best in quality sounds and a real alternative, every single night of the week. Boho is able to use the existing Discoteca licence to keep the party rockin till 6am, quite significant because no new licences of this type are likely to be issued.

RIP Extasis

Always good to see some new blood on the island, especially something that strikes a blow at the Disco Mafia, whilst closer to home, Eden and Es Paradis have some more competition to deal with, as if they didn’t have it tough enough already.

Good luck Team Boho!

Inside Boho

The layout of Extasis is almost like an old style cabaret or jazz club, with tiered rows going back as you enter the club. We'll update with new photos of the renovated interior as soon as we check it out.

Prices

Expect to pay no more than €25-30 for the most popular nights. There are likely to be plenty of freebies floating around as well, so keep your eyes open. Drinks between 5€ and 10€.

Dress Code

Dress codes don't really apply in Ibiza, but to avoid any problems, leave the shorts, football shirts and swimming costumes in the hotel.
