Sands has now been taken over by Nassau Tanit Beach.
Sat on the sandy shores of Playa d'en Bossa and overlooking the beautiful Mediterranean sea, Sands Beach Bar is the ideal place to chill out, mingle or party in Ibiza style. With a menu full of flavour and diversity this classy beach abode serves a range of internationally inspired, but locally sourced meals from world class chef Tim Payne.
Though friendly and accessible to all, Sands Beach Bar isn't a stranger to a famous face, especially since Carl Cox himself became part-owner in 2011. Aside from being a restaurant which welcomes anyone from VIP's to young families, the bar also hosts legendary beach parties and after-parties, with Coxy hosting a special party at the venue once or twice a season where he plays a total history of his musical influences. Other DJs and promoters will throw one-off parties at Sands throughout the summer season, whilst tINI and the Gang held their free beach party weekly at Sands in 2014.
Alongside Carl Cox, Jason Bull of Es Vive Hotel and Safehouse Management are the driving forces behind the popular bar and although all at Sands love to party they also pride themselves on their service, food and the overall experience for their clientele, having really focused on developing their menu in the last few years.
In 2014 Sands moved to a new location only a few bars down the beach from its old one, taking over the venue formerly known as Sirocco. Aside from amazing food the venue also prides itself on 'beach vibes and sun' and its open plan layout enhances its summery atmosphere.
