Sat on the sandy shores of Playa d'en Bossa and overlooking the beautiful Mediterranean sea, Sands Beach Bar is the ideal place to chill out, mingle and party in style. With a menu that oozes both flavour and diversity this classy beach abode serves a range of Japanese delicacies such as freshly made Sushi as well as traditional Iberian dishes from world class chefs.

Aside from being a restaurant which welcomes anyone from VIP's to young families, the bar also hosts legendary beach parties, after-parties and plush events - so there is something for everyone. It is no great surprise that Sands Beach Bar isn't a stranger to a famous face considering that Carl Cox himself became part-owner in 2011. Coxy has even been known to throw free parties at the venue once a season where he plays a total history of his musical influences; Circo Loco has also held one of their renowned after-parties here.

Alongside Carl Cox, Jason Bull of Es Vive Hotel and Safehouse Management are the driving forces behind the popular bar and although all at Sands love to party they also pride themselves on their service, food and the overall experience for their clientele. So, over the last year they have toned down the parties and have focused on developing their menu to really tickle your taste buds.

2012 has seen their kitchen adopt a new night service called 'Chefs on tour' which means that they have been flying in some of the world's most accomplished Chef's - Michelin Star status and all, to take over the kitchen. This summer will see Andy Needham (London Michelin Star restaurant Zafferano), Simon Wadham (London’s Rivington Grill Shoreditch and Greenwich), his brother Paul Wadham (Wing of St Mawes in Cornwall), Tim Payne (London Paradise Pub and former executive chef on ITV’s Hell’s Kitchen) plus acclaimed chocolatier Damion Allsop (owner of Damian Allsop Chocolates) all take over the kitchen at some point this season.

Armed with a later licence Sands Beach Bar is more than ready for the summer ahead; to be sure that you don't miss out on a 'Chef's on Tour' experience book well in advance as seat numbers are limited. Aside from amazing food the venue also prides itself on 'beach vibes and sun' so make sure you check it out this season!
