First artists announced for ADE 2014

Ever wondered where all the DJs go after the Ibiza season? The Amsterdam Dance Event!

Amsterdam is known for its green plants and red lights, but did you know that it also has a huge music scene to boot? On October 15th until the 19th, electronic music fans from across the globe will touch down in the Dutch capital for the world's biggest club festival and conference, the Amsterdam Dance Event. The festival runs over five days, and will see over 2,000 international acts playing across the city in a whopping 80 clubs and venues, along side the many interviews, conference exhibitions, talks, workshops, etc... so plenty of bang for your buck.

With so many events to choose from, the festival covers the whole spectrum of sub-genres and promises something for every electronic music fan. So who exactly is going to be playing in 2014? Well the first wave of acts has just been announced, and they're certainly off to a good start with plenty of big names and even some of Ibiza's own residents. Chase & Status will be there fresh from they're Amnesia summer, and they'll be joined by not one but two Ushuaïa regulars, ANTS' Maya Jane Coles and Tuesday night front man Hardwell, back on home turf for the Dutch event.

Tge list of artists involved is always impressive, in fact just 3% of those involved are listen on the header image above. Other names include Axel Boman, Blawan, Butch, Dave Clarke, Deep Dish, DJ Koze, DJ Stingray 313, DVS1, Funkinevil (Kyle Hall & Funkineven), Gaiser, Green Velvet, Henrik Schwarz, Joey Beltram, Joris Voorn, Julian Jeweil, Kölsch, Laurent Garnier, Maetrik, Marcellus Pittman, Max Graef, Maceo Plex, Monika Kruse, Mount Kimbie, Nicole Moudaber, Nina Kraviz, Noisia, Recondite, Rødhåd, Ten Walls and Tom Trago, with many more to be announced.

So if you're dreading October and the end of the season, this looks like the perfect antidote to soften those Ibiza blues.
