Ibiza Autumn Fair: Sa Tardor XVII

Autumn's about to arrive in Ibiza and as ever, well for the last 17 years, it's time for the annual Autumn craft fair. Over 30 stall holders from Ibiza and other parts of Spain will gather in the city's Vara de Rey square to sell their wares.

On sale, and making ideal souvenirs and presents for yourself and family, will be some individually designed pieces in glassware, leather, jewellery, silk, paintings, ceramics, enamel and not forgetting the ever-present sausage stalls representing Ibiza and Germany's finest pork products – an ideal snack to get the cholesterol flowing after a morning's retail therapy!

To whet your buying appetite, our photo's show a silk fan (which has my wife's approval) by Susana Suarez from Asturias and a cat brooch (which my wife also has) by La Gata de Trapo here in Ibiza.

The market is in a big marquee in the square and is open from 11.00 to 14.00 and 17.30 to 22.30 every day from 13th to 23rd September inclusive.
