For the travel industry the 'shoulder months' are those which flank the main season and are the times when hotel occupation is a little lower. Ibiza hoteliers have experienced an excellent August with around 95% occupancy levels and they'd like to have their hotels as full as possible in October, the last shoulder month, and have now started to offer discounts.

Travellers who would like to experience the island at a much quieter time when the sea is still warm enough for swimming in can take their pick from this accommodation (and much more) on our Special Offers page.

The Jet Apartments directly on Playa d'en Bossa beach have 3 pools and have a variety of restaurants, fun pubs and bars, are giving 15% discount from 4th to 23rd October this year.

The value for money Sandic Apartments in Es Cana are close to the beach and centre of this friendly resort have 10% discount from 12th September to 30th October for a minimum stay of 3 nights.

In San Antonio the fully air-conditioned Valencia Hostel has Wi-Fi and satellite TV in all rooms and is only 5 minutes from the town centre. There's a 15% discount for stays between 12th September & 2nd October, e.g. 17 € per person per day in double/twin room with 2 people.

Up in the north of Ibiza, the recently renovated Port Balansat II Apartments, right by the beach in Puerto San Miguel are offering 15% discount for stays between 3rd September & 31st October.
