Ibiza Fiesta: Portinatx 2011

Here's the programme for the fiesta in Ibiza's northern resort of Portinatx. Highlights are the live groups on Friday 15th, the big house music party on the beach the following day and of course the sack racing this coming Saturday.

FRIDAY, 8TH JULY
21:30 .- Tournament of “Futbol 7”

SATURDAY, 9th JULY
09:30.- Walking in Portinatx ( meeting point Rincón Verde Place)
16:00.- Sack race at the main Beach .
17:00.- Tug-of-war at the main beach.
18:00.- Pedalo race at the main beach.
19:30.- Football at the main beach.

SUNDAY , 10th JULY
09:30 .- Mountainbiking at the beach of the port.
16:00.- Table Tennis Tournament at the Paradise Beach site (registration 3€) You will have the occasion for training on the days 8th and 9th of July
  from 4.00 pm until 9:00 pm .
17:00.- Swimming competition at the small beach.
20:00.- Karaoke competition at Visent’s bar

FRIDAY, 15th JULY
21:00 .- Music from IVAN DOMENECH
23:00.- Music from  STATUAS D SAL

SATURDAY, 16th JULY
09:00.- Typical horse parade with the courtesy of the Hotel Greco and
              buns from Ibiza given from City Hall San Juan ( with passacaglia)
19:30.- Celebration of a mass singing the choirs of the “ Hermandad del Rocío” of San Antonio de Portmany in the chapel of Portinatx.
21:30.-  House Party at the main beach.

SUNDAY, 17th JULY

18:15.- Parade by the Santa Eulalia marching band.
18:45.- Procession of the “Virgen del Carmen “ from the chapel to the
               Port. Procession of sailors lost at sea.
20:00.- Return of the Virgen to the chapel.
20:10.- Typical folklore dancing presented by “ Sa Colla de Labritja “
20:30.- Performance of magic Place Rincón Verde.
22:00 .- Cinema at the open air showing the film:  “ WALL.E – batalló de neteja”.
24:00.- Fireworks display   ( cancelled due to the forest fire in San Juan )
