Two certainly is a magic number at the newly styled, newly renovated Fiesta Cala Llonga Hotel where the emphasis is firmly placed on holidays for couples.

What could be better than spending your hard earned vacation in the company of like minded adults without, shall we say, the distractions, of having youngsters about?

With this in mind the Fiesta group have created a haven of tranquillity by the sea in the finger like bay of Cala Llonga. On the hillside and surrounded by pines the hotel has wonderful views of the clear blue Med which can be enjoyed from the balcony or the chill out zone by the pool.

It's been completely renovated and restyled to give a comfortable, modern feel that's chic but not unbearably trendy. Clean lines and uncluttered rooms give a feeling of space which is enhanced by the bright sunshine flooding in. Well equipped, they all have a massage shower, i-dock, 32” TV, air-conditioning and a safe large enough for your laptop!

Table for two? Candles? Of course, there are plenty in the three eateries at the Hotel Cala Llonga. Guests can dine buffet style, go for a taste of the East in the Japanese restaurant with sushi bar or choose from the a la carte menu in the Italian restaurant. There's also a comfortable lounge bar for relaxing after dinner and live entertainment thrown in too.

Day times are for relaxing together here. A heart shaped Jacuzzi, Bali beds for two, a chill out area and quiet pool all whisper 'relax, enjoy yourselves, it's your holiday.' Grab a cool drink from the pool bar and take it easy on a lounger , there's no rush.

Even the wellness centre is couple focused, with special treatments designed just for the two of you! Alternatively there are tennis and volleyball courts and a myriad of aquatic activities nearby.

What a great concept, creating stylish, modern holiday accommodation aimed at just one segment of the market – mature couples – who want to enjoy, peace and quiet in a stylish environment. I'd go, would you?
