uptown style, cool food and parties

Ibiza's iconic art deco style Hotel Es Vive celebrates 10 amazing years in the business this year. Opened in the first year of the new century it focussed directly on savvy 21st century travellers with its perfect mix of uptown style, cool food, decks (DJ's and loungin' for the use of) and of course, parties.

Now with a reputation that goes before it, it's a 'must have' destination for the young, upwardly mobile clubbing crowd who form its loyal clientele. They may all look the same, but thanks to Es Vive's interior designer, their rooms all have an individual stamp. Flown in specially for the task, the rooms, terrace and pool have been given a complete revamp by him – fresher and more minimalist, in a 'less is more kind' of a way.

With a healthier restaurant menu and the world famous Experience Bar relaunched with a new design, new sound system and new sponsor – Heineken – expect all the stops to be pulled out during summer 2011 to mark a decade in business.

Already up and running is Radio Es Vive, cool tunes 24/7 around the globe and the first special parties have already started with great line ups of all our favourite DJ's. With more regular and special one-off events upcoming it's likely that one or two famous faces will grace the decking – past hanger outers have included Katie Price, Steven Gerrard, James Blunt, Pete Tong and Carl Cox, to name just a few.
