Ibiza has benefited from a change in the telecommunications law which has allowed local authorities to provide free Wi Fi to the public. With the help of central government, Ibiza town hall has spent €112,000 on providing Wi Fi coverage of 250 kb – enough to browse the Internet, but not enough to download gigantic files – across the town.

From now on a grateful holiday public can catch up with what the weather's doing at home or check the Spotlight Party Calendar for the following night in the following areas; Talamanca, Figueretes and Es Vive beaches, Plaza Antoni Albert i Nieto, Parque de la Paz, Plaza del Parque, Paseo de Vara de Rey, Plaza de la Catedral and Botafoch Marina.
