With the popularity of weddings and villa holidays on Ibiza, there's a whole industry of good food and service grown up around them. It means that you wouldn't necessarily visit a restaurant to sample food from some of the best chefs on the island.
Well this winter you can, thanks to a brilliant idea from Sam and Clare at Raco Verd in San José. They're introducing a Supper Club every Friday when each week there'll be a special guest chef from
Ibiza cooking just for Raco diners at the very affordable price of €16 for two courses or €20 for three.
A number of chefs are already on board and this Friday 19th November Simon Smyth steps up to the plate. He's been a chef for 28 years, worked in bistros and Michelin starred restaurants and has been on Ibiza for 5 years catering for exclusive dinner parties up to large wedding parties of 200 people.
What a great idea, particularly for people like me who don't have enough friends to invite round to a private dinner party with a private chef. Remember, it's essential to make a reservation so they can calculate the food required, ring Clare on 680 650 183 and tell her Spotlight sent you.
