a fantastic food tasting for only €1 each dish

Gastronauts prepare yourselves. Ibiza's fifth annual gastronomic show has been announced and it takes place in April and is titled “La nueva cocina ibicenca”.

The aim is to show off the variety and quality of Ibiza cooking and culture within the boundaries of Ibiza town, the smallest municipality in Spain. Designed for professionals and public alike, there'll be cookery courses, special menus in the restaurants and, tah-dah, a fantastic food tasting for only €1 each dish taking place in a marquee in the Vara de Rey on 17th and 18th April.

The 16 restaurants offering special menus for the two weeks up to the 18th are;
S'Atmetller, Antonio, Aramon Café, El Bistro, Bide Bide, Bellamar, Ca n'Alfredo, Ca'n Friends, El Moderno, Ke Kafé, Le Relais, Can Rafal, Sa Vianda, El Rincon del Puerto, Casa Plasencia.

You can download a pdf map with the details of all the restaurants here.

To mark the event, a new book with the same title will be published and copies are to be given away to anyone who buys a 'ticket' for three meals in any of the featured restaurants during the show.
