Works to install giant pipes

Here is the traffic news from Ibiza; the main road into San Antonio from ibiza will be closed from Wednesday until March! Works to install giant pipes to carry gas from the new terminal near Cala Gracio mean that the road will be closed from Ses Paisses up to the roundabout on the northern ring road.

Diversions will be in place and will take motorists wishing to enter or leave San Antonio on the scenic route through the country lanes past agricultural land, stables, wood-yards and the odd country bar, just as happened just a few years ago when the 'motorways' were constructed.

I suppose we should be grateful that they're actually doing the work outside the tourist season, though the only worrying point is that they say the work will be finished in March, but not which March!
